It was interesting, at SHOT, Defiance was being slaughtered everywhere you went, and most people were coming up to me, crowing about the CDG, especially those who saw it.
I don't think the Defiance thing will turn out well, and I heard another scary rumor regarding them, but this action is getting all the press. Let's just say he wants things for his MOA rifles and barrels are next

For 900 bucks, you'd be silly to not grab one. I know I'm going to get one even though I have no idea what else to build as I have all my bases covered for hunting and match use.
The best deal i've seen in quite some time. Ted is going to sell a mtric fuck ton of these. I know looks don't translate to performance, but with prices going up, the flutes will definitely draw in the crowd that loves the flutes on the defiance, lone peak, impact, etc.

Patience is always the name of the game on a product launch. I got Archimedes serial #4, the CDG will be worth the wait.

I'm really considering swapping this in for the gen 1 nucleus I have built up for my NRL Hunter 6.5CM build. I haven't done any load development and this looks like like a sweeter deal. Can honestly flip for gen 1 nuke for close to this to a buddy
If you sell your Gen1 Nuke to a buddy for close to this price instead of telling him about the CDG sale price... you aint much of a buddy.
$80-90 for each bolt head must be a miscommunication.. I was thinking like $150-175 which would be inline with the rest of theirs! Definitely building a 223 (maybe AI), and a 300WM. May do a 37XC down the road
Thinking of building a target gun for my brother's 40th bday. Looking at this in a red JAE G4, bartlien 24" .308, and a ZCO on top. His birthday is two years off so I probably should wait.

The option to do a Lapua/XC (plus all the smaller rounds) is the main reason I’m getting this action. When I emailed about potentially chambering it in one, they didn’t tell specifically tell me it wouldn’t.. and I’ve read of a few people building them on factory 700s as it is. It might pressure out sooner than other beefier actions though from what I’ve read on similarly threaded actions in these cartridges. Time will tell I suppose!

Keep mine simple.....CDG in the XYLO fully ARC built...the big questions is....do i go 6CM or full retard and 308...I've heard your never supposed to go full retard so I'm leaning more towards the 6CM.
