Is something going on in Ukraine?

You’re right. 6th Army. I did not mean human wave attacks. I meant an artillery duel with dumb munitions. Putin will shell any city into rubble that he can get within range. We don’t do that, because we actually care about civilians, so don’t tell me this isn’t already total war by Russia. They are throwing the kitchen sink into this fight, and the fact that they didn’t roll Ukraine in week tells me they’re weak fucks. Weak fucks with nukes, but weak fucks nonetheless. They rolled up the Chechens and leveled Grozny (with all the Groznyians in it) with about 14,000 casualties (200,000 civilians). How does that stack up to this conflict?

All the propaganda that Putin rebuilt the Soviet Army after the disorganized raping and pillaging of South Ossetia was propaganda and lies. They suck, which is why they have to use criminals and mercenaries. The longer this drags on the worse for Putin. You can make the media you own lie, but you can’t lie to the families who’ve lost their boys. This is a shit show, and while we can debate how much to support the Ukrainians, supporting the Russians makes you a fucking idiot. Vladimir Putin is a fucking KGB COMMUNIST, pretty funny the posts about the Ukrainians being Nazis, but Russia fighting for white people…WTF retards? I hate our lying media and corrupt government too, but I’m not siding with a fucking KGB true believer under any circumstances, ever, and if you do you’ve earned the title of retard.
The west has used merc’s in nearly every country on the planet. Thats not a strong gottcha point.

I had a buddy who caught a ton of charges just out of high school. His dad was a prominent figure in town, a machinist who used to own Fort Walton Beach machine who made it off contracts for the government, missile tubes, panels for the F-35etc. Judge gave him the option of joining the army to keep him out of jail. So your mercenary’s and criminals argument is a bit ridiculous. We do the same.

Putin is a fucker but not for any of the reasons you listed.

You‘re obviously a Milenial or Gen Z. I was training to fight the Russians before you were born. Putin is my generation, and the USSR’s defeat and destruction in the Cold War he counts as the greatest tragedy of the 20th century. If you think we need him as some avatar to fight against the leftist totalitarians who want to rule the world you are totally misguided.

Now I agree that our own government is riddled with traitors and criminals who undermine our country and worship themselves at the WEF; people who want a NWO and think they’re going to rule us as a new patrician class (they tout this openly and think they’re messiahs). And, I agree that Putin isn’t in the club. That doesn’t make him anything but different kind of scoundrel that will do anything for power. He’s far, and they’re near and a much more present danger, but that doesn’t change what he is. Just because his domestic policies aren’t as bat shit crazy as many of ours doesn’t redeem him. He wants to rule as a Tsar and create a new Soviet empire. If you think reconstituting the USSR is going to help us make our own people see sanity or bring us anything but pain and misery you are totally misguided. That both Putin and Biden called Lula to congratulate him on stealing an election should tell you all you need to know.
you can stuff that stupid shit right back in your ass.

I earned my bayonet expert badge on the "Ivans" at Fort Sill too. "Training to fight the Russians." yeah, ok. Whoopty fucking doo. What's next, are we going to give out honorable mention awards for making bug out bags after watching Red Dawn?

I'll tell you something else I did in addition to "training to fight the Russians" which I can guarantee you didn't. When I went to the ex USSR in the 90's, I did it as a teacher. I taught my classes about the differences between the Natural Rights which our FORMER government was built on, and the totalitarianism which they were used to. I had many discussions with people there, everyone from school kids to intellectuals, and learned much about the perspective. You have no clue. You literally have no concept of the hell that real people were put through by the Soviets, nor of the hell that we put them through after the Soviets were brought down. These same people are very pro Russian, and it's because of these experiences which you are ignorant of. You are preaching at everyone but your background is nothing but the TV news. All clueless bullshit, from a person who loudly insists on themself.

All of your posts are on the same level as "the 8th army at Stalingrad". You want to sound smart, but the fundamental facts which you allude to are all wrong. And the rest is bluff and fluff. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to work. I don't have time to waste, arguing with an idiot.

Lavrov continuing efforts to save the white race:

Russia and South Africa defend their joint naval drills and accuse the U.S. of hypocrisy.

The top diplomats from Russia and South Africa pushed back on Monday at criticism of their countries’ decision to hold joint naval exercises with China, accusing the United States of hypocrisy and of trying to dictate the diplomatic and military relations of other nations.

That is not at all what was said.

This brings up a worse reality: If Russia wins, THE US taxpayer has been royally screwed with all the money that was printed to go over there, and will be printed to refund NATO and rebuild whatever no-Russia part of Ukraine that is left when this is all over. If the WEF types win, the US taxpayer will fund the rebuilding of the WHOLE of Ukraine plus rebuilding of NATO strength. Whichever side "wins", we are definitely footing the bill well into the future and sacrificing our own county's economic stability to do it.

There is no way this can end where the US taxpayer is not screwed....none.

The other thing so many forget is the just how Ukraine was "treating" people in the Donbas area. For a very long time. And it is real "secret police" type things as well, like people just going missing.

Now does that justify Russia going in, well they had never done it before the Ukraine NATO talk, so I think till that happened they are going to try to "talk" it out and not "shoot" it out. The Nato thing was what was needed to push Russia over the edge.

I really think we know so little about what is going on no "regular person" knows the real story, short of blown up people in the Donbas area.

I distrust, our .gov to the point I doubt everything they do.

Has the Wagner Group met their Götterdämmerung

Russia’s ‘Elite’ Shadow Army Edges Into Complete Collapse

Story by Shannon Vavra • 4h ago
Tens of thousands of fighters rounded up to fight in Ukraine for Wagner Group, the Russian private mercenary fighting corps, have gone missing or died, according to a Russian non-governmental organization.
Mikhail Svetlov/Getty Images© Provided by The Daily Beast
While Wagner Group recruited approximately 50,000 fighters in recent months, including from prisons, only 10,000 fighters remain fighting at the front for Wagner, Olga Romanova, the head of Russia Behind Bars, told My Russian Rights, according to The Moscow Times.

“According to our data, 42-43 thousand [prisoners] were recruited by the end of December. Now they are, most likely, already over 50,000,” Romanova said. “Of these, 10,000 are fighting at the front, because all the rest are either killed… or missing, or deserted, or surrendered.”
The statistic cited is just the latest indication that Wagner’s fighting force is falling apart in Ukraine, even as Russia works to secure wins on the battlefield almost one year since the invasion of Ukraine.
Wagner Group fighters have been involved in the heavy fighting in Soledar in recent weeks, a town in which Russia has claimed victory. Wagner has also been largely responsible for gains made in Bakhmut nearby, “at an extraordinary cost,” given that many of the Wagner recruits had minimal training since Wagner recruited 40,000 convicts, John Kirby, a White House National Security Council coordinator, told reporters last week.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hinted at the dramatic losses the Russians are sustaining in Soledar in a recent speech as well.
“The area near Soledar is covered with corpses of the invaders,” Zelensky said. “This is what madness looks like.”
The U.S. Department of Defense has also assessed that Russian forces and Wagner have both suffered a tremendous amount of losses.
Even if Russia loses three to one vs the Ukrainians, Russia will still win. Russia has a larger pool to pull from.

snip….

I distrust, our .gov to the point I doubt everything they do.
Did you distrust gov when you were an LEO enforcing its laws, protecting its major players, and projecting its power onto the masses? I’m genuinely curious.

Only thing I have is the people of Ukraine will loose, that much is a given. Their leader in the swiss alps while they die in the frozen dirt. That much is pure fact, no changing it.

Russia lose? Define lose. I highly doubt it, Russia is pumping oil into China like crazy, the chinese will not risk that.

What I see as the end game is...at this time:

Green screen boy is off to live in Martha's Vineyard, with a never end flow of money rolling in, think Shah of Iran. Donbas and Crimea will be in Russian hands, Ukraine will get the rest and be allowed to exist provided no NATO. And after the endless flow of money for shooting there will be an even more endless flow of money for building with the same folk getting richer off of it.

That endless flow of money will bet termed something like "reparations". You know, "rebuild", "re-establish" or some such, but it will have the same guilt package for the unthinking to emotionally grab onto and justify taking more of your money. And the press will get fully behind the narrative.

Yea, history started when you were born, you're the only one here with any real world experience, and you're the only BTDT. Insist on myself? Look in a mirror. I don't watch TV news. I read. I'm funny like that. Very little I read is sympathetic to Ukraine and funding this war, and I'm fine with that as long as we stay in reality and don't believe propaganda from Russia either. There are enough traitors peddling the Ukraine narrative in our own government, and if you're pissed about that I understand, but there is a truth.

I do understand, and I agree with alot of what you say sans the BS propaganda. I know lots of Russians in my town, and zero Ukrainians. I served with a Russian who had a fairly high level of security clearance for the field. He was a funny, good guy. My next door neighbor is a Russian professor of agriculture at Wash U. I have a ton of respect for the Russian people, but the people in Russia have NO FUCKING IDEA what's going on in Ukraine other than what Putin wants them to know. I have talked to quite a few Russians about what's going on, and they see Vlad as a brutal dictator, not a liberator. They don't want to fight the Ukrainians, and some of them have family there.

Comparing our own "mercenaries", read privately paid professional soldiers (mostly US armed forces), compared to the dregs the Wagner Group is fielding in Ukraine now, is very insulting to a lot of the people (right here) who have done contract work. While The Wagner Group has former Spetsnaz and soldiers (as professional as Russia can produce) they're not an army. They've emptied out prisons for this "army" of theirs in Ukraine.

I thought that Ukraine would get rolled and fall fast, as did a lot of people. I was totally wrong. I am skeptical that anything will be "won" here.

I don't believe the bullshit about persecuted Russians in the Donbas anymore than persecuted Germans in the Sudeten. Putin was funneling Russian partisans/troops there since 2019 at least. I'm not saying the locals were upset over this by any means. They probably hate Kiev as much as a lot of us hate DC, and would have rather had Putin as their ruler, but its manufactured, not organic.

I don't claim to know everything or have a lock on the truth, but I do have some historical perspective (writing the wrong number army not withstanding). You, and alot of people in this thread, are the ones who think you know the truth and only believe whatever comes out of Moscow. No wonder there is so little public opposition to this war. If you, who have access to all the public information there is dismiss anything that doesn't conform to your preconceptions, what chance do the Russians have?

I am waiting on the audit of all the funds/aid sent Ukraine along with tax returns from all US deep state including Representatives, Senators, etc.
I would wager they have 100 million each tucked away in foreign bank accounts and have plenty other foreign assets prkbably in the name of famiky members and ghost corporations. Their US tax returns is but a blip.

Guaranteed. Just imagine if someone, with some journalistic skill got out there and proved this to be true!

lol. I'm losing interest here. Rather than just go round and around, I think it's time to move on.

pissing matches get old, and I already know how this one turns out. I'll say I have degrees in history and military history and read thousands of books, you'll say that you read a book too. I'll say that I met and talked to people who were in the gulag, red army officers, and some highly educated people and kept in contact with them over the years, and you'll say that your neighbor's wife used to be a waitress in Minsk. All the same.

It's cool, you have a different opinion based on the limits of your life experiences and biases you grew up with. I grew up with the same; as a kid I was convinced that those people there were horrible. Later with more education and life experience, and all the major changes in the world since the 80's, my perspectives changed on many things.

you be you, I have no desire to try to red pill someone deep in the matrix. In fact, I'm sure Stevie P enjoys the company.

I don't care who Putin calls. If we were a strong country, with able leadership then we could have avoided this mess entirely. I didn't say he's not a bad guy, but I am also saying that this mess is our fault, we set this shit up, and you can't admit that, you ignore the facts. We are now in a literal shooting war with the threat of nukes. I am a product of the Cold War as well, but don't hang on to thinking from the 70s or 80s, or throw out incomplete facts. To paraphrase Putin said "the defeat of the USSR was a tragedy, but to want it back was also insanity." He obviously doesn't want the USSR back!

Our governance is just as corrupt, and captured by corporate interests, when we roll into countries we "Shock and Awe" So don't tell me we don't indiscriminately level shit. I have seen the aftermath of Bagdad.

I think the pushback you're gonna get is at least for all of Putins negatives he rebukes all the LGBT, woke, immigration shit that the West is pushing up our ass.

The Untied States was supposed to be different than all the rest by having elected representatives instead of leaders. If we had representatives instead of leaders we wouldn’t be in this mess. This is just another example of how the constitution is nothing more than a fictional piece written to fool the masses into subserviency.

Nothing would happen, most people have a general idea of what’s going on already.

Look at Epstein, people were joking about him “killing himself” months before he died.

Gary Webb exposed CIA drug trade and they ruined his life and after he was mostly forgotten about, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, twice.

We don’t need more proof that most western government is parasitical and balls deep in corruption and that they are, at the very minimum, enabling the leftist culture war.

At one point it did mean something. It's been hijacked and now just a memory. There are some states where voting still works, but it's few and far between. Shame about Arizona.

while AZ is a red state, it will NEVER go red again, not until mail in ballots are ILLEGAL.
my understanding is that money goes out to counties based on the number of voters on the rolls - at least in PA. It's called Act 88. So there is ABSOLUTELY NO INCENTIVE to clean up voter rolls - In fact, they don't want anyone to take away those dollars....I mean dead voters.

I'm sure most states have their own variation of act 88.

and then that opens the door to all the fraudulent voting by activists who have their friends volunteer at the polls and then text them the lists of names that they should show up under, and claim to be. Because with no ID, who is to say that the 20 year old fagboy with the nose ring and pink hair isn't really Edith Shoemaker, born in 1923.

agree and disagree and I'm your gen
first off, we need a bogey man because we need someone to unify and exert the outward 'scare' that marshals all that is best in the US. That bogey man should be China. I don't think Russia is the right choice, Russia of our gen is not the Russia of today

They‘re allied, more now than back then. Don’t trust KGB.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined Fox News on Tuesday to discuss his new book, Never Give an Inch, and was asked to weigh in on the ongoing war on Ukraine.

Anchor Sandra Smith noted that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said earlier in the day, “‘We need to be all in in helping Ukraine.’ I want to ask you where we are in helping Ukraine in this fight against Russia?”

“He said the Russian army is being decimated in many ways. The fight in the east is at a turning point. Where are we and how much more should we be stepping in to help Ukraine?” Smith asked.

“I think about it a little differently. We should be helping America. And helping America means a sovereign nation that is prepared to defend itself from an invasion and an attack where civilians are being killed by Vladimir Putin is in America’s best interest for our economy, for our security,” Pompeo replied reframing the issue to address concerns on the far-right that support for Ukraine is not putting “America First.”

“We should be doing everything the Ukrainians are asking us to do. They haven’t asked us to send our soldiers. They haven’t asked for the 82nd Airborne. They’ve simply said, provide us the stuff we need. And it is their lives that are at risk,” Pompeo continued, adding:

And we the Biden administration, has been afraid to win, but they’ve been afraid to provide the Ukrainians with the tools they need to be successful. And this will end with a negotiated solution. We should get to that point as quickly as we can. And the quickest way to end this war is to provide the Ukrainians with the military assets, the intelligence that they need to actually push Vladimir Putin off the mark.
“Real quick, final question on that. Do you believe we should be pressuring our NAITO allies, allies to step in more as well? Are we in that position?” Smith asked.

“Absolutely. For four years, Never Give an Inch talks about this, we were beatin’ on the Ukrainians, excuse me, the Germans and the French saying you have to defend yourself. If you depend on Russian gas, bad things will happen. And we didn’t predict this would be the way. But the Germans and the French primarily have not invested in their own security. They should be doing this. This is, in first instance, a European problem. It’s their responsibility. It’s also in America’s interests. And we should do it for that reason and that reason alone,” Pompeo concluded.

Mike Pompeo weighs in? no pun there, at all. And it's good that Lindsey took the cabana boy's dick out of his hiney hole long enough to make a political statement on a matter that is irrelevant to US interests. One look at these two and you no longer have to wonder why the GOP seems to prefer losing elections.

people don't understand that we've given more money to Ukraine than we spent on the Marshall Plan. In terms of purchasing power, not just the total $ figure.

Just the past few?? More like the past few decades!!! I mean did terries really fly planes into two buildings that all of a sudden fell as if they had demo charges set on them? Did Creepy Uncle Sniffle Joey say he told them to get rid of a persecutor for no reason? Or was it for funding. All in the name the UA had too much corruption at the time. Then after that was done no more corruption, although the new persecutor was also fired within a year or two. And on and on it goes. We have been getting duped for a fuckin very long time haha!

What a joke these people are. Imagine the delusion of any of these GOPers who try to claim that they never gave an inch on our constitutional rights, or in any way fought for us. We live under a Marxist government now with no free press, no free elections, no free speech, and the gun confiscations are beginning. Do they really think that anyone believes their bluster and bullshit? No, just buy his book, float off to la la land and chuckle at the pithy sayings on how dumb the democrats are, and how they just don't "get it." Then donate more $ to the GOP.

In reality, the GOP has lost every battle in the culture war, and lost badly. Lindsay Graham really is the RINO poster boy because he exemplifies the GOP tradition of getting assraped so often that you start to realize it's happening because they want it to. Do they stand up and talk about an issue because they want to defeat the democrats? No, they do it because they want the democrats to come over and ass rape them again. It's easier to lose and fundraise. Trump was the closest thing since Reagan to a figure who said "stand and fight" and seemed to mean it. and at the end, even he folded under the weight of the massive totalitarian bureaucracy.

Did we get to this point because the NWO is so fantastically organized and funded that nobody can stand against them, or was it because these GOPers were bought like cheap whores that enjoy the roleplay and are just pretending to make a stand so they can laugh at us. They got paid for selling us out, and now we are donating money for the rope that will be used to hang us.

lol. maybe he meant to say "let the seat out another inch".

What a joke these people are. Imagine the delusion of any of these GOPers who try to claim that they never gave an inch on our constitutional rights, or in any way fought for us. That's exactly how! I have felt and believed for many years now. Neither party or anybody in the political class
represents the average American. I hate the commie democrats. But I loath the republicans even more.
I never could stand cunts of any form. Political or otherwise!!

German tanks are on the way to the Ukule Heads.
This is gonna get good!

Days, before tanks would be approved ,there was a pressure campaign from the west to get some Ukrainian officials to fired for corruption in Ukraine, and it seems some small potatoes were indeed sacrificed to make it happen.

Germany wasn’t going to provide tanks until the US committed to doing the same. I hope this isn’t that.

Yes sir. I read the article after I made the post. No bueno. I hope the individual american soldier refuses the illegal orders from an unconstitutional president. The traitors that have the obedience of the american people are about to send our young men to die once again except in greater numbers. Unfortunately those still in passed the vaxx test which pledged their allegiance to a corrupt state.

agree and disagree and I'm your gen
first off, we need a bogey man because we need someone to unify and exert the outward 'scare' that marshals all that is best in the US. That bogey man should be China. I don't think Russia is the right choice, Russia of our gen is not the Russia of today
Bogey man, you mean the child rapist cover story?

The Bogey man was a story created so sick fucks could pass off sneaking into kids rooms... it was just the Bogey man.

We don’t need a pedo cover story to describe our foreign policy.( edit- we should have a realistic view of our neighbors on the planet, not pedo cover stories)

the dribble effect is the best possible way for the Russians to encounter western technology and then develop countermeasures to defeat it. It's the same dumb shit that Hitler did with the Tiger tanks. Send a couple to a stagnant front, let them get stuck in a swamp for the Soviets to find and test, and then when the huge offensive happens a few months later, the soviets all have manuals on how to combat the new panzers.

There are a few....well yea but....in there but I do understand what you are saying. Why not just had the tanks to the Russians, it will be the same thing.

Hopefully something useful to the convo. Maybe a little less shrill than the media, who knows.

Honestly, who didn't see this coming? I'm surprised it took this long to be reported as happening. Will almost guarantee this isn't the first purchase, that fruit was hanging too low in the tree to not take advantage of it either through the TB or from China who already has their hands on all of it.
