Waste? Sounds to me like he spent it on reasonably good things. Got a house, a few nice vehicles, purchased a sports team and gave it to the fans, paid off the debt, established a youth team for the main soccer team and established a charitable oganization. Except for the horses (always a good way to convert a large fortune into a small fortune, or worse) sounds to me as I said, like his spending was reasonable, jsut a whole lot. And he still left a pretty nice inheritance to his two children.

Far better than blowing it in Vegas and consuming lots of cocaine (which I suspect much of the lottery folks winnings go.).

Waste... heck, what a way to go out!

    Awesome!

I know that if I hit the $1B Powerball there would be a ton of endowed scholarships and history departments... And the 2A lobby would never want for money again.

Plus there is this abandoned mine/hole/pond in Africa full of old British Military equipment... Screw those Oak Island losers. I'd pull every piece of hardware out of that pit and restore it!

It looked like they ATE most of it.
he should of used some of it for Liposuction..
I'd of purchased a mini gun, and caused a shortage of 7.62 :)
    edit -
    Guy probably died happy.

I really don't see what the problem is with how he spent HIS money. Jealousy?
I mean, sure, maybe some of that isn't what I would have done but it was HIS money.
I'm thinking I would have spent it on some of the same things he did. He even left his family several million even after having the big party after the funeral...and THAT was cool AF.

My brother in law's dad's funeral...I've never laughed at a funeral much but I have to say that EVERYONE was laughing their asses off at that one. Perfect. I hope people will be as joyous at mine, if I even have one.

It was R_A_I_N_I_N_G dolla' bills over there...

Weir ended up spending an average of £100,000 (roughly $131,900 during that time) per week on luxury items and investments.
