Yea it’s bullshit. I guess the plan is working because it sure as shit makes me not want to buy anymore.
I’ve got a nomad 30 that I certified 7/25/22, and a mask I certified in December of 22… once I get them, I’m throwing in an order for another 22 and 1 more 30, and I’m done

Might as well get them going now... Remember, the longer you wait, the longer before you get it back.

I've got 3 in the hopper right now. My Otter Creek Labs Hydro-S is at 252, and should be approved any time now. My Hydro-L is at 158 days, and my new Polonium 5.56 can is at a whopping 7 days. 😂

I always try to keep at least 1 certified and caught up in the machine at all times...

And yes, it's bullshit... We shouldn't even have to register non-firing chunks of metal, at all...But our ancestors allowed our rights to be pissed away, so now we're still dealing with it. 😡

eForm came back this morning.

A lot of 5/X/22’s starting to show up on the Reddit r/NFA thread.

5/5/22 here, still waiting.

From 05/05/22 to 05/11/22 Means a 38,000 control number difference. Hard to believe in just a few days 38,000 people registered items.

The sequence isn’t likely limited to Form 4. I’d expect it’s the main sequence for all eForm items, including the ones you and I don’t/can’t see.

Recently saw some history on the National Firearms Act. The plan was to include handguns. Just barely dodged that injustice. And yes, a $200 tax in 1934 was hoped to be a defacto ban for the common folk. The rich and powerful could buy their way around it.
It looks to be about $4,500 per NFA item in today's cost, according to google (avg inflation of 3.54%/yr).
I certainly wouldn't have the 5 in pending status that I do right now if the stamps cost that much each... About 100k control numbers from mine, so looks like I'm now predicted an early March approval from April '22 purchases (May '22 Certs)

Anyone get an eform through lately?

Silencershop is down, since Tuesday. So I’m sitting on a can because eforms isn’t working now

Not sure where I stand my control number 2022552xxx. Hopefully end of Feb early March if the 268-270 day count is correct.

Who the fuck knows with these idiots?

I agree 100%. The only reason I have one in the cue is that I bought into the "90 day approval" bullshit hook, line, and sinker. I won't be making that mistake ever again. Patience is not my strong suit.
I bought mine 4/19/22 but due to some snafu with the dealer, I'm not expecting my eform until late May.

mine either.
Even having 2 of my 4 in my hands already doesnt make it easier either lol.
I want them now!!!

But at the same time, I could not go back to shooting without it... I was 7 benches down from a kid shooting his first rifle, a TC 308, no brake.. and im not sure why, but damn that thing was loud and was throwing me off.

Yup, just got another Nomad, this time the Ti Long one. I haven't certified yet and should do that this week. Then the wait will begin. I should get my Nomad-L very soon.

Yeah I thought about getting that yhm one that you can shoot whatever through to have for a sub gun type can but I have Ti-30 and a Nomad L in jail that I should get in like a week or 2 then will have the Ti-L in 10 months and I have some others so just made sense to get another Nomad and then at some point probably another pistol cal, likely 45 can and I'm done for a good while

I had three cans certified on 5/4/22 (270 days ago) and haven't heard sh*t. I went through Silencer Shop. Does anyone know where I can find the control numbers? I can't find them when I log into my Silencer Shop account. Between the cost of the three cans, tax stamps, and trust paperwork, I have over $4k invested in these damn things.

Control numbers are on your confirmation emails you get when you certify. Probably somewhere else too, but I'm not sure.

You're close with the 5/4 cert date. Next 2 weeks I bet.

Yeah I have one that certified on 5/7/22 and I haven't gotten it approved yet either. Judging by others ITT, I would think you'd be getting your stamp in the next few weeks and I should as well in 2 ish weeks

HOLY F*CK!!!

270 days after being certified for those who are counting.

Funny thing! I just checked my email and found this:

Okay so I did some digging, and maybe I'm fucked as far as approvals? I plan to call tomorrow (if you have the number handy <i see it above, thanks> please forward-I will search this post as well).

I also sent dealer a WTF email. I plan to contact @Silencer Shop tomorrow as well.

Anyways, I have 3 cans in jail, form 4 paper trust, purchased 9/24/21, tax stamp cashed 10/5/21

There was a signature issue initially which was quickly addressed.

Today I find on the 3 forms that not only is my email address wrong/different on each form , but the dealer email addresses are shown differently, possibly incorrectly too.

Will this result in a disapproval/back to square one in your opinion?

Suggestions would be appreciated... Thanks.

Anyone done a normal eForm 1 recently?

Your dealer is who you need to talk to then. As long as someone (you or him) gets the notification with the stamp you're good. But he needs to call the atf and inquire if yall all have email address issues.

PA: Guys, don't just go get the can from any dealer you pass by. Make sure it's someone who does it regularly and who keeps up with their stuff. It's well worth it to drive a little bit and get to a reliable dealer. Your dealer is the gateway, if he sucks, then you suck.... get it?

Obviously I'm just guessing, but on a paper form I bet your email isn't important. As long as names, ID numbers, etc are OK you're probably fine. Who's to say you don't make seperste email addresses for all transactions?

Talked to dealer and he said that Silencer shop generates those e-mail addresses, and he gets no notification and receives the Tax Stamps in the mail.

He said the last one took about 15 months, I believe I'm at 16 months. Will advise what the final outcome is.

I've not had any of my paper form 4 take that long but it does happen. Mine have been right at a year or 13 months but 15 or 16 months is definitely a real possibility. Hope it comes soon. Efile isn't what they claimed it would be but it is still a lot better than paper form 4

I still love my Nomad-LT. One of the best investments I've spent in suppressors so far. Same goes for my OCL Hydrogen cans. And that new Polonium 5.56 can I just got is insane! It honestly keeps impressing me. Everyone who has heard it in person wants to know what it is, because of how good the tone is, and how quiet it is on a 5.56 AR. So far, everyone who's heard it and asked about it and I tell them it only has a $550 MSRP, has immediately pulled out there phones to find the OCL website and find out where to buy one...And that's NOT an exaggeration. That's the most impressive $550 5.56 can I've ever heard. The other cans in that price range (YHM, etc...), and even some much more expensive than that, that I've shot and heard in person can't even begin to touch it.

I mean, my 2 Sandman-S cans are nice, and hardcore, but just not quiet. Not hating at all. They work awesome for what they were intended to do, which is simply knock down some of the sound, flash, flame, and keep gas blowback low on hard-use machine-guns, but they were definitely not intended to be used for maximum discretion purposes. 😂 There is a huge difference in person between the Sandman-S and my Hydrogen-S in volume and sound, even though it might be hard to tell in my videos.

Yeah I almost got that can but I couldn't find it anywhere. Do you know anywhere that has one?

Which one? The Hydrogens or Polonium? I get all mine direct, so I couldn't tell you which dealers have one in stock. I think @HansohnBrothers and Bauer Precision both stock them. Maybe the nice folks over at Hansohn can give you a heads-up when the next shipment arrives.

Honestly, that Polonium will blow you away. I don't see a need for a K version, personally, but some folks like them. The regular (full-size) Polonium is only like 5.8" as it is. It's very compact. It's like a whole inch shorter than the Sandman-S/Sierra-5 cans.

I originally wanted a Sierra-5, but after the blast baffle erosion issues they had during the first part of the first batch, I was kind of leary. I've heard they got it rectified very quickly and that they're find now. But I got the Polonium instead, and so I don't really need a Sierra-5 anymore. I'll probably end up getting another Polonium in Coyote Tan or FDE for my old 2009 Coyote Tan LWRC M6A1 to have a dedicated can.
