Maggie’s Tool box help

That’s the thing, for a home mechanic, no you don’t need Matco, Snap on, or Mac, tool boxes. But for everyday heavy mechanic, buy once’s cry once. Most all of the big names warranties are very good if you have a good dealer. Also watch for trade ins. The guy I work with got a 48 inch snap on box, top and bottom for 2k.

Brady, just mail them in for warrant. I do it all the time and it is super easy. I am now working on an island at a boat yard and I am the only person there that buys quality tools so I really don’t have a regular tool dealer of any brand. I have used Matco, Mac, and Snap-On mail in warranty and they all have been super easy.

Agreed, I think the Snap-On flank drive plus is the best wrench ever made for a regular combination wrench.

A buddy uses this as his primary portable box in his work van. It's the box that is loaded with as much weight as he can handle (which is substantial) and gets dragged in and out a few times per day. It's held up.

I got a snap on 54 with locker in combat tan I’d trade for pews and a cheaper box

I would highly encourage searching the interwebs .
There are a ton of deals on boxes out there in the used /second hand market , Craigslist , Facebook marketplace.
