Women Transport Pilots. Delivered planes from factory to the military.

I met one once. The Harriet in "Pappy and Harriet's" in Pioneertown, CA did that during WW2. She would tell you stories for the price of a beer.

Unfortunately the place was later bought by two lezbos from LA and it has become a trendy place where the LGBTFUCKU crowd pretends they are mingling with desert rats.

With a face like that we now know why she’s not wearing a ring.
Unless picture taken into a mirror - then right becomes left. Wedding rings are on left hands. Buttons on women's clothes are not on same side as men's and the light from the 3 lamps in the background are projected on her. If so, we see her right hand -but, I could of course be wrong...

The HARMs aren’t air-to-air, but aren’t they carrying 4 AMRAAMs each?
Those are anti-radiation missiles… In other words the kind of missiles that you use against enemy radar and SAM systems.

You use the AIM 9 against other aircraft.

If the enemy balloon is a collections platform, then you’re not gonna hit it with anything that could be captured by the collection platform and used to defeat your military technology. In other words, it’s very probable they want you to scan the shit out of it…

It’s also fairly likely that you’d wanna watch it as long as possible so that you could collect on the platform and see what it’s doing.

It’s pretty straightforward… And the whole shooting it down right away kind of issue is potentially a red herring. It’s all a matter of what the military needed, or thought they needed to do to achieve the best outcome.

I guess I should have used my sarcasm font or written more directly so YOU could understand.

Yes, the WW means Wild Weasel. Yes, they are carrying 2 HARMs each, on the inboards. I know,, I’ve carried HARMs probably a hundred times. Look at my Avatar. They are carrying 4 AMRAAMs each, on the outboards and the wingtips; those are Air-to-Air missiles. You use them against other aircraft, in this case a balloon.

Since you have difficulty identifying missiles I’ve included static photos of a AMRAAM, a Harm, and an F-16 carrying both and also an AIM-9.
