This would be fun in a right to carry state

I saw a Cold Case Files show that the shooter got convicted when they matched the striker mark on the 22 case found at the scene against one fired from his 22 pistol.
Depends upon the projectile, but Unjacketed soft lead deforms to a point where it’s hard to get useful data.
I'm not saying that they would spend that effort for a hood rat but you would probably be on 50 Ring cameras, 20 gas station and traffic cameras.

$10 says that a family member made millions for writing a computer program. Several more million to fix the original and a few more to manage the system.

Before even spending a single Dime on Gov. projects, and programs. . Never forget that Gov. geniuses spend Huge-$$$$ given to their selected in 'Consultant Fee's' to study the programs and projects. To help guild them to their decisions for imperfect solutions .

Give me a flat sheet of steel, some paint, stencils, self adhesive vinyl sheets, and a little bit of time and I can make you a fake license plate,

Being seen and being identified aren't the same thing.

Wrong.

He wasn’t identified because he was a federal agent/ asset

If he was wanted by the Stasi / .gov organized crime street level enforcers. They’d found him

To snare a tax slave and set an example for any other uppity vigilantes they would.

In Maryland they ballistic finger prints every pistol sold. Spent casing and all

I hear they have solved 0 cases with it
Another reason why it's so much better to buy guns from buddies with cash

How do we still have ccw laws , mg bans , assault weapon bans etc

Who the f knows.

Did I miss a fed case banning the banning of FTF sales ?

Just imagine how much we could get done about all of this foolishness if we only had a full Pub controlled government....... oh wait.... never-mind, they didn't do anything accept illegally ban freaking useless bump stocks

This is easily remedied with a small bag to catch the ejected brass.

Read a book describing how to do it when I was in high school.

Actually re-reading that book now and nearly done with it.

Not so suppressor friendly with those soft lead .22s.

Works dandy if you dont care about noise.

MUCH easier to do 3 rds quick and walk away if it is movie quiet though.

Not arguing with you, just saying there are other ways to consider this.

If you are already in for a penny, in for a pound, a quick stop at the local grocery store will get you everything you need for a quick one time use disposable quieter maker.

Everyone should study the IRA
An organization that only ever had around 1000 members at its peak... Carried on an insurgency for 75ish years... In Ireland, with firearms laws so restrictive they had to go to other countries to train... Against the professional British army who was not constrained by the limits of our constitution.

A plastic garbage bag over the hand and gun is the way the guy did it in kevin Costner movie. Can't recall the name but it was a pretty good movie about a serial killer. Not sure if center fire cases would potentially melt it but 22 likely wouldn't. I think that's the way some mob hit men started doing it at technology advanced.

The Murdaugh trial in SC has demonstrated cell phones and vehicles computer, as being the easiest way to catch people doing stuff.

It’s been said before but bears repeating. They caught the Moscow Idaho killer by using the exact same technology that was used to identify the ballot mules in 2000 mules. Clearly the shit works. In one case it was dismissed as a fraud and 18 months later decried to be the best thing since sliced bread. At the point we’re at In society now, leaving your phone at home is almost an admission of guilt.

We live in a fantasy world….

Unless you've made a long habit of leaving your phone at home already....
Or what if your phone made it's normal journey to where it normally goes each day?

I have a scar on my inner arm near the elbow where a 22lr ejected from a 10/22 and stuck to my skin. I still remember the 1/4 inch tall blister, and flicking the brass off with my index finger. That was 30+ years ago…

The county I’m looking to buy land in now has some pretty spotty service. That said, the threat level is going to we WAY less than any city. Be more likely to get a ride and fed by the neighbors than shot. Fuck it, let the cities burn.

Yeah I've been burned a little bit buy one a time or two but they don't get that hot so I don't think they'd melt a trash bag with just a few shots

Dad drew funeral detail for a retired colonel when he was in. Summer. Georgia.

21 gun salute time... Guess he was a bit scrawny because after one volley some spent brass went down his collar and landed in the nape of his collarbone... He got to stand there listening to that brass sizzle in the sweat... He said he just stood there with his teeth clenched.
