I'm gonna make it even lighter. Strip it a bit, and finish with tung oil and a UV bake. Its's gonna be a poppin blonde wood!

It’s a clamp. The lug abutment is still in the same place as everything else. And depending on the thickness of the lug you have in the rifle you may have to get different clamps to get a fatter lug in.
