Seekins havak ph2 anyone make prefits for?

No, it can not. Initially people like Patriot valley and straight jacket armory offered prefits but then it was discovered that they didn’t hold tolerances tight enough and were having issues.

Both now require you to send the action in to fit the barrel.

Big bummer because that was one of the reasons I bought my PH2 was interchangeable bolt heads and prefits.

Seekins. Not sure if they had a change like old/new specs or if they just were not holding tight enough tolerances.

I have a few PVA prefits for other guns and they are amazing. I’m confident the issue was not on the gun smiths side since both of those companies offer ptefits for multiple brand actions.

Just ordered a pre-fit from carbon 6 as well as the action wrench directly from Seekins. Told Seekins CS what I intended to do and they didn't have any qualms with that. We'll see what happens.

Check your headspace, those actions aren't meant for prefits. Good luck with that barrel though, they use McGowen blanks which are pure trash.

I’ve heard Mcgowan has issues with machining on their prefits, but nothing yet about carbon6 having the same issues.

From what I read, Mcgowan has an issue with their machining and finishing. But I’m hearing the actual blanks are fine. I’ll roll the dice with a pre fit since they’re the only one’s doing them. No such complaints about Carbon6 yet though . I have done a few pre fits and have the headspace gauges.

Well manufacturing barrel blanks is a machining process, so….
