MDT is excited to announce the launch of our new flagship chassis, the MDT ACC Elite.

The MDT ACC Elite is the most advanced competition chassis system available. It provides top-tier shooters with instinctual point-and-shoot control through perfect balance. You will find targets faster and be more precise. Each element of the ACC Elite is stiffer, more adjustable, and balanced to create the perfect rifle/shooter interaction.

The MDT ACC Elite Chassis System is an advanced fusion of design and engineering created for the Elite professional shooters. Each ACC Elite Chassis is assembled from CNC machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with Black, FDE, or Titanium Blue Cerakote finish. Highlights include; a longer, wider, and stronger forend with integrated ARCA rail; a taller, adjustable magazine well; improved geometry on the new SRS-X Elite Buttstock, and redesigned Vertical Grip Elite with a connector bar. The Remington 700 SA inlet chassis weighs 6.1 lbs and is 37.4” long from forend to buttstock.

The MDT ACC Elite - Remington 700 SA - is now available with a starting price of $1599.95 USD. Details can be found at https://mdttac.com/acc-elite-chassis-system/

*Edit - See full list of changes below.

Current Change List as of July 2022 - Production (front to back):
  1. QD cups added to forend tip on both sides
  2. Eliminated removable endcap so that there is no way to add/remove internal weights unless barreled action is removed. Still compatible with up-to 1.250" straight barrels
  3. Drilled and tapped holes along top of forend for NV and Control Bridges
  4. Included, optional grip tape for underside of forend
  5. Thicker/wider forend for added rigidity
  6. R-Lok machined to RRS Spec. along underside of forend
  7. M-Lok removed from underside of forend where it was not necessary for additional rigidity

  13. M-Lok adjustable thumb shelf that can be attached on either side of the chassis
  14. New grip/connector bar design that is modular and backwards compatible
  15. Grip allows ~13.8 mm/0.55" back-and-forth adjustment and +/- 5 degrees of cant
  16. New buttstock profile that is shorter (12.25" LOP minimum/14.75" LOP maximum) and has different geometry that promotes in-line recoil to the shooter
  17. New cheekriser with 1" back to front adjustment built in
  18. Tool-less buttstock adjustment
  19. Hex key storage in buttstock for 1/8" and T10 hex keys
  20. 3/4" LOP spacer included in buttstock assembly

Minor Changes:
  1. Side accessory holes shifted in-line with M-Lok
  2. All fasteners (minus action screws) made T10 or 1/8" hex common
  3. Buttpad height graduations lasered into buttpad base for easy repeatability
  4. Overall aesthetic update
  5. Buttpad and LOP spacer include 4x fastening points to ensure that buttpad assembly is rigid, even when raised
  6. 3/8" E-Clips included to act as cheek riser height or LOP coarse memory system

Are there plans to offer this buttstock for purchase, for an ACC?

might as well be the first...

left handed in the works?
The plan is for left hand to be released in late February.

We don't have a date for this yet but the grip with connector bar and buttstock will likely be available sometime in the new year.

Still no cant adjustment on the butt pad?

Looks like it just slides vertically.
If you remove the butt pad portion that slides up and down, you now have access to the screws that adjust the cant. The ACC Elite version also has the ability to shift the butt pad left and right horizontally in relation to chassis centerline.

^ About 3 minutes in is where you can see the cant adjustment

Better than nothing I suppose, not really much at all. Would like to get my hand one to see if the range is sufficient.

"It provides top-tier shooters with instinctual point-and-shoot control through perfect balance."

Now if I'm a middle pack shooter... that aspires to be a "top-tier" shooter.. is there any benefit 🤔

All kidding aside. Looks cool and like a well thought out comp chassis.

More color options (like the Premier) available in the future?

So this was originally announced with an adjustable magwell and I think it went through at least one change after SHOT...but it seems to have been dropped altogether in favor of being able to add dowels to take up slack apparently?
Was that due to technical difficulties or cost or ....?
Thanks

We have the 6x optional dowels that allow you minorly adjust the fit of the magazine in the mag well. By adding the side dowels, it reduces side-to-side rattle, but makes insertion and drop-free harder. The front dowels are there just to support the front of undersized, polymer magazines (mostly for rimfires). Also, mag latch can adjust up and down to better position the magazine relative to the action.

Wow this looks sweet! I love my ACC, but have already been working on a bit of a mod for a thumb shelf further rearward. Love what you guys show here with the new design I'll own one at some point.

Is the adjustable maglatch backwards compatible and will it be available separately ?
Thanks!

Will there be a Ruger American inlet for either of the ACC chassis?

Halcyonhal, the greatest marksman in the world has spoken. Modular Driven Technogies will not be developing an ACC chassis system for gun makers that are beneath him. All hail Halcyonhal!

Are there plans to offer the Elite for the Tikka t3x? Your website currently only lists Remington 700.

Anyone heard when they will start shipping and also when some of the accessories will be available?

We likely will; no ETA at this time, but sign up for our newsletter to be kept up to date with all future product launches.

We've already been shipping; first, run is sold out and the next one is in the works right now, around 8 - 10 weeks is our current ETA. Accessories will be added throughout the year.

I mean you do you, but I think most would agree it doesn't make a ton of sense to put a $1600 chassis on a $400 rifle. I have a Ruger American that I used to shoot deer with, I put a cheapo Kydex cheek riser on it just for some better fit, if you want a chassis look at either the XRS or Oryx

That's a reasonable reaction. Laughing accomplishes nothing. Ruger is pretty new in their American line. Who knows, maybe Ruger could have made some improvements in the future. I like their guns. I don't see why it's an unrrasonable answer.

We are placing orders for these this week and will be stocking them as much as we can. Pretty happy with how this chassis turned out.

Is there a release date for the control bridge sections? Not seeing them listed yet.

Awesome, great to hear!

Not quite yet, likely late winter/early spring.

About the cheek riser adjustment, is there plans to put a wheel back in there?

I liked the wheel because depending on what I am doing, I could close my eyes, adjust, and open up to confirm where I am at.

Outside of that, I put my order in today. Biggest thing for me is the shorter buttstock and the fact I just have a barreled action now.

Looking like April right now. We ran into a fairly large production hiccup that has been worked out now, so keep an eye out on our emails and social media for launch ;)

Cool. I have one elite already with a second one coming from Nedved Precision that are going to need some control bridges.

Touchdown finally.

Interesting to see the variety in T handle wrenches, bolt heads etc between the two. Must have been a case of “use whatever’s available”. Great chassis though, vast improvement over the Premier.

Does it get rid of the chassis "ring" and the scope "buzz" that comes with a chassis? It looks like the only other option for that is a foundation, which after getting an arca rail and weights to balance out a foundation stock, it ends up being the same price.

Should have been the exact same fasteners used on both chassis? These were from our initial runs, so there is a chance that they are still sorting out "production" level hardware to order in bulk for these!

Also, we made a conscious effort to keep every fastener on the chassis to a drive size of 1/8" (included on the buttstock), T10 (included on the buttstock) and 3/16" for the action screws :)

@MDT_Josh Are you guys working on lowering lead times or having these in stock?
Absolutely! As this is a new launch of a flagship product that is quite important that everything is perfect, it's going to take us a minute to catch up with all of these backorders and get stock on the shelves! Our assembly team has expanded dramatically in the last few months to keep up with demand, so I hope that we can reduce lead times on these along with other chassis, magazines, bipods, levels, etc. soon!

FYI anyone interested…..

It appears the bolt release on surgeon actions bottoms out on the top of the ACC Elite.

Unknown if it’s enough to matter. But it will pinch a piece of paper.

Not a complaint as most aren’t going to be running surgeon. Just noticed it with an action we have here on the shelf.

It was only a few little things, main grip screw, and some of the finishes (silver screws vs black etc). Not an issue, we only noticed as we were assembling them side by side.

Mine was missing the bottom grip tape though :(

Was missing some in some baker wings we got a week ago.

This is unacceptable and we should be catching these things before anything ships out. Please email our customer support team @MDT_OFFICIAL and let them know that the products you received were missing parts! We'll be sure to make it right: [email protected] or 1-604-393-0800
