Looking for 18” 6mm ARC barrel, but there’s a catch…needs to be a rifle length gas system to fit under my LMT MLR 13.25” upper.
I want a high end barrel. Price not an issue.
Appreciate any help…

Pretty sure that even a rlgs will leave the block exposed. Search images of a MRP with a 20” 5.56 barrel

Gas tube will still be shrouded. RLGS+1 will have the whole block and some gas tube exposed.

Rainier Ultra Match should fit the bill, my regular Rainier match is RL gas and the UMs should shoot even better.

Block exposed slightly is what I’m expecting for rifle length.
Haven’t been much into high end barrels other than Proof. Craddock/Bartlein about as good as it gets in an AR platform?

Hey OP, I did something similar a while back.

Got a barrel from Craddock to my specs, sent it with gas block and tube along with the MLR upper to DWilson to convert convert it. The one caveat is that you can’t use a heavy profile barrel because the LMT extension won’t fit; an SPR profile worked fine.

16” rifle length gas fits perfect in the MLR.
