Wondering if anyone has mounted a ZCO 4-20 on a split rail Long action and gotten proper eye relief. I have a L/A Impact NBK coming in a month or so and looking to mount my ZCO on it or start looking for another optic if need be. Has Anyone done this and gotten proper eye relief?… if so what is your LOP? Searched this pretty extensively with not much success.

I tried my 4-20 on a full length pic rail on a hunting setup and couldn’t get it to work on a 13.5” LOP stock. I would’ve needed an adjustable comb, and preferably an adjustable height butt pad.
So I’m guessing the objective bell was hitting the front of the rail and higher rings ( along with adjustable comb) would have solved the problem? Thanks

I had one on a full length integrated rail with a EH1 and it was fine. The rings were roughly in the same spot they would have been on a split rail. I had it in both the Zeiss (tier one?) rings and then later in Hawkins 1.0 heavy tactical’s.

After talking with Richard@cst and the other replies here it seems like if I run my normal for me height rings (1.2x -1.3x) it should work. I was mainly worried about the short length of rail in the front of the action and the short tube between the bell and the erector of the scope not giving me enough room to move the scope back…. Or maybe I’m just looking for an excuse to buy another scope

Does your howa have a split rail or is the optics rail one piece?
