CMP Winchester 52D with a Redfield 3200 12X scope. The bore looks like a sewer pipe but just loves Center-X and absolutely adores Midas+. Consistent hits on aspirins at 100 yards if my eyes are playing nice that day.

I love my 1982 Christmas present 10/22, only change is an old Butler Creek side folder, 30 dollar Walmart Red Dot, I know it’s not cool like something stupid accurate, but it’s mine.
I have all but the Tikka and Lithgow. Have a custom built gun built on a Vudoo action as well as a Vudoo built rifle. If I had to pick just one it would be my rimx. Bergara gives up nothing in accuracy. It is the best in its price class I believe.
If I keep having to deal with Vudoo mag and feeding issues, I am going to give rimx a try.
From what I've tried out so far, Tikka T1x for overall, then a CZ 455, a Savage third.
I gave up on that long ago. Haven’t had an issue with my CZ ever.
Try taking .050 thou off your feed lips, and removing a bit of material off the back.
Vudoo has redesigned magazines coming. Although, I am not having any feeding problems with the current mags.
I backed way off the common action screw torque spec of 65 in/lbs and found things worked a lot better. My Vudoo 360 action was binding at 65 in/lbs in the KRG chassis and caused all sorts of issues. The happy place for my action seems to be 35 to 40 in/lbs.

CZ 452. They don’t make them anymore. There is the new 455 but I haven’t shot one.
You are running a bit behind the times, the CZ 457 replaced the 455 has been out since 2019!
CZ 452 Scout that my boys learned on, followed by the Winchester 68 that introduced them to post and aperture. Of course the other day my youngest told me the CZ 457 VPT was his favorite.
Randy at CPC tunes the 77/22 my uncle has one with the Lilja drop in barrel and it’s spectacular so is the Clark Custom barrel as well. But like you said sad nobody makes needed things like a chassis or higher end composite stock for them. I’d like one in 22 hornet one of these days. https://www.ct-precision.com/
The CZ 457 MTR is my pick your well under $1000 tons of reasonable options for parts. Unless you’re shooting benchrest do you need anything more accurate? Lastly they just run excellent no mag, feeding or extraction issues. You get bored later drop in a Krieger or Bartlein.
Looked through the thread real fast and dont see where the OP has checked back so as he is just asking about "Rimfire" I'll say this. If you can be so inclined as to not get a 22 and instead a 17hm2 then a Bergara with a 17hm2 barrel and TT Diamond 2-stage in your choice of stock would be awesome. A more economical way would be a CZ 457 with a Lothar Walther 17hm2 barrel with the normal upgrades. Not a gun for matches but a excellent all around rimfire that shoots flatter than a 22lr and can be bought for half of 17hmr while giving 90% of the use. Suppresses better also. Just my 2 cents and goes down in value ounce I post it.
My absolute favorite to shoot is the CZ 452 Scout with the red dot that I bought for the kiddo.

I got started building precision 22RF repeaters with my first ever RF project - a Stiller 2500XR with a Krieger sendero blank that I finished at 22". Just a few months after I finished that rifle, Mike Bush made his drawings for the repeater conversion of Rem 40X & XB actions to use his prototype V22 10rd magazines. Since I had a couple of these rifles purchased from the CMP at bargain prices, and wasn't shooting them, I sent the older 40X off to Jonathan Elrod for the conversion, then barreled it with a 3-groove Benchmark when I got it back from jelrod. I liked the ease of quick, fumble-free reloads with these mags so much that I sold the Stiller and sent the 40XB to jelrod, then barreled it with a Lilja titebore blank. I had the world by the tail on a downhill pull with those two rifles, but when Mike Bush & VGW released the V22 rifles, barreled actions, & actions, I just had to have an action for a build, so sold the first 40X to help defray the cost of the V22 project, and put a Krieger on that action. I kept the 40XB, and eventually did a 22" Krieger sendero to replace the rather unwieldly 26" Lilja.
I also let curiosity get the better of me, and bought a Rim-X action, and barreled it with a Bartlein sendero blank.
I love these two rifles - they're very accurate, and tons of fun to shoot in PRS-style matches. But they're too heavy to suit my tastes when I want to carry a RF rifle on an evening walk over on our creek bottoms. After seeing print & online ads for the then-new CZ457 American, I fell in lust for the features of the new action, and the proportions of the American stock, so ordered in a couple of them, and kept the one with the nicest looking stock. After going through the process of tuning the extractor/pusher on the two 40X/XB rifles, I was really impressed with how slick & reliable the CZ was, and how nice a break I was able to tune the new trigger for. But the accuracy of the factory bbl was just crap, especially to someone who'd been enjoying the accuracy of several custom barrels on my larger & heavier actions, so I bought a Shilen ratchet rifled, select match blank, did some contour work on it, and then chambered it with an EPS reamer, gluing it into the 457 action. It was about 1/2lb heavier than with the slender 24" OEM bbl, but it now shoots at least as good as it looks. I also put together a V22 sporter, with a 22" Kreiger #4 blank, and put it into a Manners EH-2 stock.
I've bought several nice 22RF sporters over the past 1-1/2yrs, in addition to the CZ American, including a Browning-marked 52C repro sporter, Sako 94S that the former owner had fitted with a Lilja EPS Match bbl, and a couple of Anschutz 54 sporters - one made in 1967 and marked 'Savage-Anschutz', the other a practically new 1712.
If I haul a bunch of these rifles out to the 50yd range and put a box or two of ammo through each of them, by the time I've shot all the sporters, it's obvious that the 457 with its Shilen is a good deal more consistently accurate than all but the V22 sporter, and the V22 is a bit easier for me to shoot than the 457. And if I've also hauled one of my heavy V22 match rifles out with the rest, it's also obvious that the extra weight & stability makes it even easier to shoot than the V22 sporter. As much as I enjoy shooting the V22 match rifles off the bench, I'd much rather be carrying the CZ 457 American or V22 sporter while walking the hills over on the creek. So what's my favorite 22? Depends on what I'm doing with it at the time...

As much as I love my Anschutz 54 this H&R M12 has been a fun rifle to tinker with it also provided my first win in ARA UL current configuration with a BM HVRT 3G. trigger is repined for a 2-oz release. .750 oz added to firing pin, low-cost way to play with a PAS design. I am getting great ignition with the added weight. it is not finicky on what it will shoot too. hopefully next year it will go to Lapua for testing.

id really love to find another Anschutz 1416 HB with the beavertail forend stock. really love that rifle. just balances well, shoots well, trigger is great. very undervalued, sad to know they discontinued them.

Bad news is, I don't own the CZ 457 Lilja anymore. Good news is, my Grandson does....that boy sure does like his new rifle too!!!
I took the opportunity to move on to a Vudoo V-22S.

What stock is on your M12
I finally got a Cooper JSR with blued barrel, and a Kimber 82B Classic last month, but this is the one I'm taking to the woods for opening day of Squirrel season tomorrow. Anschutz 1416AV, 18" threaded barrel with a Dead Air Mask; just got back from the range...made sure it still doesn't throw a first round cold bore flyer with the suppressor...still doesn't. Shooting CCI-SV that has been hollow pointed with a Neil Waltz die.

If you plan to carry it, shoot off hand and want a threaded barrel; get a 1712AV. The 1416 rifles have been discontinued; I got one of the last ones Anschutz North America had after they were out of production...if you can find a 1416AV now, snap it up. There may be a few of them still in the wild with the thumbhole stock, check EuroOptic they had one last I looked.
The 1710 HB AV rifles are about a pound heavier than the 1712AV.
My little collection of Anschutz rifles; 1712 Silhouette, 1712AV and 1416AV. All with two stage triggers, I changed the shoes on them, and upgraded the trigger guard on the 1416.
It is a Don Stith originally inlet for a Falcon action. I don't use standard pillars but a bedding bar setup so I can pretty much use any inlet for just about any rifle. the holes in the bar is filled with fine tungsten particle and capped off this is to help dampen any vibration. I have been using this method since 2014.

using this method provides zero chance of any changes in temperature/humidity will induce any pressure points. whereas traditional pillars with spacing between each contact point could have uneven expansion and contraction. with a bar if it moves it will as one mass.
my goal was having something similar to clamping the action in a vise that is bedded in a stock.
The first one I did September 2014 9 years ago for an Anschutz 1411 step one in the bedding process.

I couldn't agree with you more Sir. It's an awesome idea.
Only thing I lack on my bedding bar is wood. LOL!!! I do have the weight though, my rifle is at about 27lbs. now.
Tikka T1X is my favorite, mine produces accuracy way above its price point, it is set up for benchrest as of now, 36x Sightron, Harris bipod, 8 oz home brew trigger. Ammo is Center X at 50 yards, was fine tuning scope adjustments and ended with lower left target. I have actually fired a few groups in the 1's at 50 with Midas+.
