Saw this F-150 and just had to have it.

Always carry and pay attention. No reason those pieces of shit should still be breathing.

Young black guys are the only ones still wearing masks around here. It’s been a trend. Hint, they aren’t wearing them to avoid getting sick.

Even if he was carrying, that would have been tough at 3-1. Pretty sure it's kind of tough to steal a modern vehicle. My Ford has an app that will tell you where your truck is all the time. I am torn on this technology, but in this instance, sure would come in handy.

Possibly, but those idiots were looking for an easy mark. With a vehicle as cover, more than likely after putting a few rounds in the nearest target, the others would high-tail it out like the cowards they are. Granted most CCW holders don’t train hardly at all.

3 guns vs 1 in a quick draw contest with one gun against you being a AK pistol?

im not into giving up things easily, but if you start slinging bullets first, chances are you lose the truck and your life.

being outnumbered and outgunned is not a reason to commit suicide by robber.

That guy has a nice home, nice truck....he will be fine. Those other three douchebags...that is their life. Stealing, theiving, always looking over their back. Running from the law...shitty waste of lives! They will eventually be doing time for something. In a cage where they belong. Fuck them!!!!

Just a misunderstanding is all, simply thinking it was the Uber they had been waiting on. Nice looking neighborhood.

Beck just announced Tucker Carlson is OUT at Fox!!!! No Fucking way
Not surprised. He was way off the "Fox News" reservation. Surprised they let him air some of the stuff they did.

In that situation, with the limited capacity of most CCW's, you're very likely to lose that battle. You have 3 well armed guys at close range, one with a rifle, plus the additional "pack animal" mentality. With some cover, separation and a 22round mag w/spare it could be game on.

We all know we'd just love to draw down and outgun the lowlife scum, but....
Don't draw on a drawn gun.
And certainly not 3 of them.
It will be a major inconvenience to lose your truck and belongings in it.
Losing your life over that inconvenience if you had a choice not to would be stupid.

"Take the truck and go."

Calling bs

You'd be relying on someone else's humanity that that don't kill you anyway.

Submitting and hoping for mercy is a good way to fall victim to some horrific shit.

He had his eye on them, if he had the ability to draw a ccw the moment they turned into he had cover, and a good chance.

This ain't the movies. Nobody is going to stand there waiting for their turn to get shot

Step 1 is being aware of the monkey army. When you see three scumbags in hoodies and masks walking in a decent neighborhood in 80 degree weather, get the gun first or wait until the yard apes pass before going outside.

They deserve the mistrust they recieve. My 80 yo dad was approached by the Rican across the street as the neighborhood declined. He was working in the garage with the door opened. PR man asked to borrow a screwdriver, the old man said, "No! If you find out I got tools you'll just come back later and steal em. Get outa my fucking yard."

He was probably right, he lived in Florida. Hahahaha

If he had any awareness, he had plenty of time to draw and use the truck to come around them.

But yes, unless he had training and didn't miss he was screwed.

Honestly the AK pistol would scare me the least as I doubt the kid could hit a damn thing.

It is easy as buying a key cloner off Facebook.

New vehicles have never been easier to steal.

These wizards are resorting To carjacking because they are too stupid to use internetz.

Not saying going 1 vs 3 is a good idea, but this is who you are likely going up against with these idiots...

"It be like that sometimes"

I can, and I'm sure most of us can, put most of a magazine into a 6" steel at 75 feet or so. You'd have to be aware really quickly and shoot the one with the Ak. The others would run. I think I'd take those odds over their mercy.

I practice with a 10mm G40 that I use as my hunting and home defense pistol at 50 yards weekly. I often take it over to the 100 yard range too. Anything 50 yards and in doesn't stand a chance, at 100 you better not stay still for too long....

Being aware is rule number one. I live on a dead end and would instantly recognize they don't belong. Then add backpacks, masks and hoodies... pretty obvious IMO.

Still don't know if I'd try to get the jump on them in this situation though. Tough one for sure.

This is one of those instances where “tactical” ccw or whatever you call it when you wait to seize the moment comes into play

Throw them the keys and your wallet. When they turn for the truck start with Mr AK and hand out free lessons on respect

This is why when you train with your CCW you should always train for multiple attackers. Especially now days. Get in the rhythm of eliminating multiple threats. Not just one threat, shoot, come to low ready and reassess the situation

Had he engaged when they walked up likely he’d at least get hit but definitely would subject bystanders to being injured as well

A lot of what these kids use are airsoft weapons as well. Not that you should assume that obviously. Just pointing it out. They are spot on realistic and I’ve seen many instances where crimes are committed with them. Again not assuming they’re airsoft, that be downright stupid in this situation, just pointing out obvious trends.

You know they didn't NEED a truck to go perform some wage-paying work.

They were just walking down the street, feeling like they owned the world because they had some newly stolen weapons - and were looking for a victim - and wanted to really get their crime career off to a solid start.

And after they get shot doing it to somebody else - we'll hear all about how they were good boys and were on their way to choir practice.

Those people are like sharks, looking for a weak prey. Shoot one, and the rest will scatter.

I agree with this. In this situation I just can’t rely on their “mercy”.

Maybe I’ve watched too many movies but I feel like in that situation I could stop one to two of them and the remainder would be running for all they are worth. With being behind the truck like that you could draw without them even realizing it until you are up and shooting.

Be careful shooting someone in retreat( throwing them the keys and shooting in retreat). In many places, theft will not stand up as a legal shoot in court.

As fucked up as it is, the law might not be on your side if you shoot someone running away.

He should have armed himself.

Note to self. Review and rethink EDC, to possibly full size race gun.

So....reading yalls posts....
Lot of you didn't watch the video huh?

"He should have let them have the truck."
"Never draw when outgunned."

Everyone who said anything like that, get yourselves a dipshit sign.
So.....just stay calm and give them your keys.....
So what happens then huh?
He was surrounded by all of them, taken out of the frame....hell, I was thinking they killed him. They could have.
He actually had the high ground when it first began, he had cover, and time to draw.
If you don't have enough training to come out on top in that video, you need to invest some time.
I'll remind you again. He is lucky to be alive.

Oh...and the cops aren't gonna make finding your truck a priority. Sure you can use your fancy tracker to find your truck.....then what Sherlock? We know you ain't gonna shoot them...cause at this point, you will fry if you do. Cops? Go back to beginning of paragraph.

He allowed himself to be a victim.

That is exactly who you are up against.

Besides that fact.....

pop out the tires as they leave, get inside. Take away their ability to flee.

If they come in... then you are more than protected by law.

This guy was not up for it.

The minute you shoot the tires out, you go to jail.
So where is his gun? In the house?
Dey gone.
On your hip?
They just took it from you and popped a new asshole in your forehead.
Up your ass?
Dey gone.
Stupid ideas....that assume those nice young valedictorians didn't just shoot you for shits and giggles.

…and unfortunately go to jail for life for shooting “3 disadvantaged youth, just trying to turn their lives around” in the back. Sweet Jeebus, it’s just a fucking truck, and pretty clear the victim wasn’t armed.

Would I have drawn if in that situation? I don’t know, maybe…since there was clearly a threat to life.

But if they’re leavin’, bye, and good fucking riddance…take the truck. Unless my kid’s in there, they can have it, that’s why I have insurance.

I never said shoot I said pop the tires. Shooting is your assumption, there are many ways to pop a tire, if you can, do.

You seem to have created a whole chain of events that are a complete miss under standing of what I said regarding.

Its obvious he did not have a fire arm.

He lost, when he allow him self to become a victim. In his case, some how immobilizing the vehicle, and getting in the house is what I suggest.

My next suggestion was to keep your head up and not let your self be a victim.

Calm down there buddy. Might wana try some Midol.

Its absurd that self defense laws are even written that way. Guys jump you at gun point, rob you, and then take your keys and start heading for your vehicle. So now at that point because they are walking away from your body, how is it not still self defense? Why does the CCW holder have to assume they are leaving at that point? AK boy could turn and shoot him just before getting into the truck. How the hell does he know they aren't gonna jump in the truck and run him over? Once someone threatens a person with deadly force, the victim should be able to legally use deadly force in defense until the entire confrontation has ended. Just my .02.

Exactly

And you just gave him the keys to your house most likely. Until they are driving off in my mind they’re still a legit threat.

Everyone can make their own assessments and work it out after. But there’s plenty of store or gas stations robberies where the clerk or a ccw carrier got the upper hand when the suspect already had the money and was making their exit

Again make your own choice. But if that guy with the AK or handgun is directly in front of me he’s still a threat to my life or my family

I’ll take my chances in self protection

its going to depend on the state and their laws.

in Texas, i can defend myself with deadly force. i can also use deadly force to prevent the stealing of my property and recover it in the act of being stolen. that means, in this situation, at any time in accordance with Texas law, this guy is justified in the use of deadly force. if he jumped in another car or motorcycle as the truck is fleeing and he is in hot pursuit, and he kills those people, he is justified because he is recovering his stolen property.

the catch is when that pursuit ends, and like someone says, you geolocate your truck through GPS tracking, you CANNOT go to that place and kill the people who stole it so you can recover your truck.

fun fact, you can also kill someone vandalizing your property (graffiti, etc) at night. but not during the day.

Hand him your keys
Which likely includes house keys
Disable the vehicle
Hide inside thing you gave them keys to
After you keep them from leaving

I’m sorry but I don’t see the smooth outcome you see with this. If you disable the truck or attempt to you’ll likely not make it to your door. If you do make it, unless you have a gun on you or at the door, your likely screwed anyways. Hopefully you live alone if you attempt this

Personally I’d have been watching them like a hawk. I guess I’m a profiler…..

Also, I've noticed these guys are frequently 100lbs soaking wet wearing skinny jeans. Watch the video and notice how they move their feet. They aren't confident at all, look like they are afraid they might break an ankle. They might have to redraw and reprint all those "thug" posters that people shoot at on the range LOL.

Na.

Shoving a knife in a tire is what I was thinking, something to slow them down/disable. It would likely take them a minute to realize the tire was flat, likely still steal the truck and would not get too far and be much easier prey for Johny Law, rolling on a flat. That was my thinking.

He was more than able to run and open the passenger door. Then open the tauno cover... He very easily if he had a blade could have cut the side wall. Had more than enough time, potentially.

Also its not like they are going to know what key it is, Fumbling around outside the door trying to figure out which key is the one that unlocks the door. Point is if they break into you home after all that, you are 100% in your legal right to dispatch them. Where as shooting them while they are Fleeing in the process of stealing your truck is legally questionable, even if they are armed.

This is not an easy situation. And no outcome here is smooth or good.

Again my main take away is don't allow it to get to this point. Keep yo head up. Make smart choices.
