Accuracy International Picture Thread

Picked up the AT yesterday from a local for a pretty decent deal. I’m looking for some insight on ring height once the NV bridge is added on.

Do you need the regular base for those as well? Low profile base won’t work?

You talking the action rail? If you want the bridge rail and the action rail on the same plane you will need the high rail.

You would only need 1.35-1.5" rings if you were actually running a clip on up front and wanted your day optic set up optimally

Looking at some AI 1.5 chassis parts. A shop in England has them. Shop is called Sporting Services out of Henfield. Are they legit?

They have really good customer service too. I have order stuff from them that wasn't even on their website.

What Peltors are those, 6? I see the 7’s are slowly coming to the states..
Comtac V. I've had these and a set of Comtac 3 and they've been good. Comfy to wear, good enough suppression and the electronics sound natural and don't cut out or amplify weird buzzing like insects.

Well I finally got my barrel blank from Bartlein barrels. It is a 6mm 1-7.5 22” 5R left hand twist. Now I need to find someone that can cut it for my AT.

Finally got my AT taken apart. I ordered my Obsession chassis last Friday, so hopefully it will be here this week. But it doesn’t matter too much since my ATACR is still at Nightforce 🙃

Took a couple of new shooters out today. He hadnt shot anything bigger than a .223 and his wife had never shot any sort of firearm. We started with rimfires and worked up to the .338, both managed to get sub moa groups at 100 with the 22-250 and the .260 barrels on the AT. Finished up with a couple of shots each out of the AWSM. Always a good feeling sending people home with a smile on their face. Too busy supervising to take photos so staged these before we packed up.

First time AI owner, owning an AI has always been a holy grail gun for me. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, had to give it a proper camo job because black guns are boring

100%. My AI AT became my favorite rifle over night. Wouldn’t rethink my purchase for a second

Anyone know if there's any aftermarket Cheek pieces for ATs?

I already have the saddle blanket and the wiebad pad.. and that Victor company one looks the same as the original.

I was wondering if there were any of a completely different design. I'm guessing not.

I would reach out to @pfl338, He had done some for the MC. He might be willing to do something for the AT.

I Noticed that they sell two separate aw magazines for the AI. One is sold for the At and one for the AT-x. Has anyone noticed more reliability when shooting 6br with the new mags. The older AT mags have been a pain even with the hrd kit. I’m constantly getting my last round nose diving inside the magazine.

I could be wrong. But the AW and AT share the 0726 magazine and the AX and AT-x share the 6677 magazine. Although the AT-x has its own magazine that is now sorta out.

The 6677 has a lip on the top front of the magazine to keep it elevated.

That said I have two 6677 magazines I've used with hrd kits. One feeds flawless and the other will feed rounds 10-4 and I get nosedives with 3rds left occasionally.

The Victor Company offering is almost the same dimension and fit as the original, but is made out of some material that IS more grippy and comfortable without the addition of blanket or pad.

Out of interest what are you after / hoping for? Lower comb height, different shape etc?
Different shape I think. Current one is quite wide and thick.. I think I'd prefer something a little more streamlined.

Ah right okay. So more grip and padding without beefing up the size of it.

Well now that my AXSR is back from AI with a new and not dead trigger, I'll be out sighting that back in today.

On a side note, at least FedEx actually delivered it to the right place, unlike the last several boxes they've shipped me 🤣
What happened to your trigger?

I thought the trigger issues were fixed? Anyone know what build years that the issue was resolved?
