Hi Lariat, yes I am reading it all, it like watching reality TV, facinating, funny, and disturbing. But all I see is low level insults and ignorance. Lets take for example Fig's rant. He stated "You haven't been anywhere people don't go on vacation", which is nothing but a assumption on his part and does nothing but show his ignorance and stupidity. As an exampled, recenly got back from the Democratic Rebublic of Congo, not a place many people go on vacation, and a place I am pretty sure most of the morons here have never been. You want to see true suffering, go there and let me know what you think. I fact, he has no idea where I have been, what I have done, or what I have seen. So when his post is filled with that kind of bullshit, what is the point of the rest. You guys have been making all kinds of wild assuptions about me (wrongly) and many posts wishing some type of harm or pain. Back to one of my original points, it is this kind of anger and hatred that is a real problem not just in our country, but in the world. Especially when its one of the members that usually writes in one or two word sentences, but they write a full paragraph or more. Fig is a prime example. Do i get along with him all the time? Nope. We have argued over dumber shit than what is in this thread. We get over it and roll on to the next topic.
Nobody here is your enemy. They are, however, very frank. Take the time to read what they say, decipher it, and see if what they say has meaning for your life. I'm quite serious about this, don't just throw it out because it was insulting to you or it seems "old fashioned". I get butt hurt on here like everyone else, but I have come to realize that just because I am insulted doesn't always mean that the offending turd is wrong. These guys hold unique perspectives and they are quite knowledgeable about many things. Except women. And pineapple on pizza. And that chili has beans in it. In those regards, they are total heathens and not to be trusted under any circumstances.
Insults are cool. The big thing is to own them or laugh at yourself and roll on. There is a lot of peace and respect from others than comes from that. I sincerely hope this response helps.
