Anyone have any experience with the Element Titan? Youtube reviews look good but not many of them.

element was created by a coupel air rifle dude, one is Matt Dubber who i have been following for years. Thought i may get one of them for my pcp and air rifle but made in japan - likely similar qual as the NF line made in Japan.

The Nexus is made in Japan but the Helix and Titan aren't. Matt said that in an interview but wasn't wanting to say where the other 2 were made, which leads me to believe that they are from China. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing these days. They are making much better stuff than they were 10 years ago.

General Tso’s Sicken seems to be doing pretty well.

Some are saying the glass is comparable to nightforce is this true

Which Nightforce? Optically it is better than NXS and SHV, but not quite as nice as the ATACR.

I am not sure how it stacks up to NX8 in terms of image quality. It will be pretty close, so it is hard to tell without a side by side. It is more forgiving than NX8 in terms of the eyepiece.

The Element Titan glass isn't great. I would say it is on par with an Arken SH4 and not as good as an Athlon Helos.
It is useable but barely for NRL22.

To my eyes it looks on par with an ep5. Do they have different batches of this scope? Cant really understand the complaints because mine looks pretty to good. Maybe they made some changes and its now better than before?!

Different folks, different strokes. It could be sample variation. It could be people have an axe to grind with Element. This kind of stuff happen all the time and I won't even try to guess which it is. Hell, I've seen Youtubers intentionally screw up the eyepiece of the scope to make it look bad on camera so that they could crap all over the company they don't like. I've also seen some talk authoritative when they didn't that the eyepiece is adjustable. You just never know.

Titan is a solid step above anything I have seen from Arken or Athlon Helos. The Titan I am currently testing is the 3-18x50. It seems comparable to Athlon Ares scopes so far. I have anywhere between 100 and 200 scopes laying around at any given time, so I have an opportunity to look at a bunch side by side and develop a good understanding of where they fit in. Still, I only have one of each, so sample variation is always at play.

No way the Element Optics scopes are similar to Nightforce quality. They're overpriced mostly Chinese made scopes. We compared all of them already except the Theos nobody bought yet but will after it goes on sale again fir under $2000 or if Amy of my friends get one for free to shill for the brand or get it half price for posting a good review and agree to shill for them. Buy Element Optics brand scopes only when they go on sale for 35-40% off their typical prices. That's what they're really worth.

No way the glass in the Titans are like the Arken EP5 and EPL4 not even Athlon Midas Tac quality. We even compared the Nexus head to head with the cheapest Nightforce which is their SHV line in a 5-20x and the Nightforce was noticeably clearer and cheaper and also the cheaper Tract Toric 4-20x was clearer and the much cheaper Chinese made Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 is clearer when specially doing a side by side at 5-20x magnification and the Athlon had noticeably better turrets and more total elevation travel too for almost 1/3 the price of the Nexus at $565 vs $1499. The Arken EP5 at 5-20x was comparable to the Nexus and that's a $500 Chinese scope. Arken turrets are superior. The Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 was superior to the Titan as well and a lot lighter too.

Titan vs Arken EP5 about tied mostly with a good EP5 sample some prefer the EP5 image quality over the Titan. There's a big price difference between the Arken EP5 and Element Titan. Both made in China.

I will probably end up selling or trading the Titan at a substantial loss.
I am thinking I will give the new Tract Toric UHD 4-25x50 a try. It has the 47 Mils of elevation travel that I am looking for.

A buddy went through two and sold the replacement for really cheap just to get rid of it. First one he was offered and got for half price to shill for the brand but it was terrible according to him the glass wasn't good past 22x magnification and image quality was terrible on maximum magnification. Replacement under warranty wasn't that much better on par with the Arken EP5 glass. I didn't personally see how terrible his first Element Titan 5-25x56 really was. Only the replacement that according to himm was oy a little better than the first one but he didn't want to keep it after comparing it to his much cheaper Arken EP5 and my Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR which were noticeably better.

I think you'll be thrilled with the Japan made Tract Toric. You're certainly stepping up to Japan made from China for obvious quality reasons. Just avoid the 4-20x50 Tract Toric which is their runt of their litter IMHO and the much cheaper Chinese Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 is better regardless if it's Chinese vs Japanese and major price difference. I had two of them and sent both packing and kept the 4.5-30x56 which is superior to the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2.

So what exactly didn't you like about the Titan and did you have the 3-18x or 5-24x or both? They were recently on sale for around $535 and $550.

I have the Titan 3-18 and the glass is just not suitable for my eyes. It just isn’t as bright and clear as I would expect and I am not particularly fussy. It just is not suitable for competition use. The turrets aren’t great either, but I could live with that. Maybe I just got a bad example.

You got victimized by the shills. Be aware that they are really hyped up just like how Arkens are. There's a lot of shilling going on with the brand and people out there agreed to receive their scopes for free or at least half price to post favorable reviews and shill for the brand. We on the other hand buy a lot of scopes just to test out and compare to other brands using Burris Signature XTR rings or at least Burris Signature rings with posalign inserts so there's zero evidence they've ever need mounted. Midway USA is the best place where's there's almost 90 days to test out scopes with free prepaid return shipping labels followed by Optics Planet with their near 30 days as well as Amazon and Walmart online.

I suggest always buying at least 5 different scopes to choose from and return the rest keeping just one you like the best since all eyes are different.

The new 2023 Primary Arms GLX 3-18x and 4.5-27x could be nice possiblities for your eyes and made in the Philippines not China. The Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 for $565 on sale through Walmart online has free shipping and free returns too. They normally sell for $869.99 pretty much everywhere else except Amazon but the 20% off sale is already over. It's better than the Bushnell Match Pro ED according to my own head to head and rather disappointed in the new Bushnell Match Pro ED's sub par glass that's not clear on high magnification and has mushy turrets. Try this Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 and the sweet spot is 10x to 20x. I guarantee you'll think it's at least 3 levels above your Element Titan and you won't mind taking that loss selling it once you use the Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2. It's a $1087.49 MSRP scope selling for $869.99 that you are buying on sale for $565. If you end up not liking it there's free returns too but my best guess is you're definitely going to want to keep it.

It's one that you don't need to buy 4 or 5 others to compare to. It's actually a leader of the pack and only the Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 is better at almost 4x the price. I consider it a budget Nightforce NX6 that's made in China with a hassle free lifetime warranty. I bought the Nightforce NX8 first and ended up keeping it then bought an Athlon Ares BTR for $700 compared them side by side and ended up buying 2 more of these Ares scopes instead of another Nightforce NX8 and TBH I'm a real particular glass snob and prefer Japan made scopes such as March and Nightforce or at least Sightron SIII scopes.
