You can try but I doubt that will fly in PRS rimfire or NRL22 … check the rules if you want to play the game so you don’t set yourself up for failure.

I'm guessing he's read the rules or a matchbook, since reverse roof is a specific (but somewhat rare) stage...although I could be wrong...

OP what is the point you are trying to make?

I've never seen a match with a reverse rooftop that allowed you to use a tripod. I've only seen tripods allowed use as tripod rear, otherwise you shoot off the prop they tell you.

This appears to be an example of a tripod being used in centrefire.

Here's a "no tripods" rule being side-stepped with "modified bipod"...


Agree that alot of MDs typically don't want you using primary support not available to all shooters. This kind thing is always highly polarizing, and I'm sure people will always have different views on it. (ie, if its good idea for the sport, or not, etc)

Frankly, if I had to shoot backwards off a rooftop barricade….just count me for a ZERO. THATS TOTALLY FD UP!
