After hearing the initial plans for the 8 state, 23 day event, I don't recall ever hearing any after action reviews or who won or any other details. Did the event ever happen in 2001 as planned?

That's true. I remember the podcast when Jacob announced it and thought man that would be so cool. Then it sunk in just how expensive it would be to take a month off work plus travel, gas, lodging, ammo, spare gun, plus entry fee. To rich for my blood. Figured some TV network would pick it up and we could all watch and pretend we were good enough....
