No mention of the fact that when the Hebrews (Israelites if you prefer) entered the promised land that they slaughtered nearly every living thing, dogs cats, men, women, children, donkey's. If it breathed, they killed it. They finally allowed a few to sell themselves into slavery.
Though they often get covered by time, actions have far and long reaching consequences.

You might want to check into what the Canaanite peoples were doing that warranted their annihilation... Specifically their sacrifices to Molech.
For a long time most of academia considered the accounts to be Hebrew propaganda. But they've found archaeological evidence that backs it up. The Amorites were especially egregious.
The book says God gave the Canaanites multiple generations to straighten their act up. They didn't... And they received their judgement.

They did what God told them to do and had they done it to the "T", they wouldn't be in the situation they're in, now. The above is how wars should be fought and won. If it breathes, kill it, as in 1 Samuel 15. It's the way you win, for good.

Don't really care to have dealings with either group... But out of the 2, I guess I would rather deal with the group who charges high interest than I would the group that blows itself up... It's easier to avoid getting screwed over in a business deal than it is to stay out of a blast radius.

I've made a few people mad saying the Palestinians aren't a distinct ethnic group... Palestine is a geographical region.
