Tac Ops Rifles

Stamp came back this week for my TacOps can. Package complete. 1 year to the day from my first phone conversation with Mike about a rifle/can combo. Happy bday to me couldn't be happier. If you've ever wondered what BADASS looks like, this is what it looks like.. Delta 51, TacOps can, TT 5-25. Thanks to Mike for being a solid ass dude and a pleasure to work with.

Awesome package!!

I like how Mike’s modesty compelled him to put .001” on that proof target.

I think he left out a zero. Should be .0001

Question for those who have mounted a ARCA rail, with the textured grip, did you add any spacers for clearance? So not to damage the texture, or did the rail bind any if you just tightened it down? My 2 thoughts are #1 don’t want to mess anything up on this masterpiece Mike built, #2 don’t want anything that could shift during use that could cause errors in accuracy/ the added spacers. Thanks in advance

I have a small area 419 arca rail on mine with no issues, it’s not going to damage the texture at all.
I think @tlg308 has a larger one on his if he can chime in on how it’s holding up so far.

I got the Dependabilt (Sawtooth Rifles) 7” Anschutz Arca rail. The Arca rail works awesome. I think the texturing and bottom of the Anschutz rail/track is pretty flush with each other. Looking at mine the Arca rail does contact the texturing. Not sure if it is damaging the texturing or not. If you’re going to use the gun in a field match the Arca rail is a must. Totally understand why you want to keep the rifle pristine, but the true joy of having one is putting it to use!

I'd be more concerned with bending the rail "lips" than damaging the texturing, depending on how much torque you use on the fasteners. I think I bought a tiny ARCA rail section none the less... don't rememer where from... and some hardware. I'm gonna play around at some point and figure out what setup I prefer. The problem of choice!
