@wade2big you know very well that me(and @DarnYankeeUSMC and @mcameron as well to an extent), agree with 90% or more of what you say. Just like when the whole thread was somewhat bashing @mcameron in the Larry Vickers thread, i felt obligated to step in and try to help my fellow 'hide brethren see the error of their ways. I've done and would again do the same for you as I do think quite highly of you. I think "shall not be infringed.." means I should be able to EDC a briefcase nuke - so 💯 we definitely see eye-2-eye on near all issues.

But I have to disagree(somewhat). I ain't saying God is rooting for Russia to win,, although Putin is saying ALL the right things to get us Christians on his side, along with the Muslims abroad), in this conflict.

I DO believe God absolutely has sympathy for individual soldiers. On all sides!(in most cases). Obviously the ones rounding up teenage females to send to the meat grinder, or those who are committing atrocity.
God understands mercy when it's called for.. and courage/bravery. And LOYALTY!!!

i can imagine the harsh reality of the Ukrainian battlefield makes many souls on both sides of the front line turn to god more than they would usually.

I'm wondering if/when Putin will go scorched earth and level Kiev and the infrastructure. What's been the hold up? Is he sticking to the original outline of securing the donbas and other regions that are mostly Russians and ridding the Ukraine of the Nazis by artillery?

He won't as there is no sign of inherent animosity toward Ukrainians, throughout this war civilians and infrastructure were spared to a large degree, what was destroyed was what was fought over, and attacks on the electrical grid are quite systematically targeting mostly 400V transformers at substations. enough to take most of the heavy industry and some of the train network of the grid ,but for civilian life grid can be maintained with rolling blackouts. Kinda like in Comiefornia 👿

If the goal was just to do most damage they would mostly be hitting the powerplants that would take years if not decades to restore. Transformers just need uncle sams checks floowing and lots of resources to get the multi million USD and oversized 100+ton units sourced and shipped from around the world.

Not that it would be all that uncommon for a falsehood to rear it's self in the Ukraine territories.....
But....

Why the hell is the Union Jack flag flying at the bow of that *allegedly* Russian ship ?
You know, Union Jack....the UK flag....BRITAIN ?

Not a single thing shows anything remotely looking like a ship hit by a missle....like a consequential explosion of any sort.....no remains noteworthy...nothing.
One photo does show what could be diesel smoke hanging over what appear to be container loading cranes.
Diesel smoke in any port or bay are nothing of note....they are a constant appearance, daily, if not hourly, or more.

I'm thinking someone took pics of Zelensky lighting his farts on fire.

The flag is Russian Navy but does have the crosses of St. George and St. Andrew like the Union Jack.

Ukraine is broke. It was broke before the war and will remain broke after the war ends. Their hand will still be out whether they fully lose or negotiate. That's the reality - they will never get off the NATO tit unless they are told no.

During AF basic I wrote up an old test question on the white board in the day room. I drew a sun, a tree, and a pickup truck with an ant eater in the bed of it. Above the drawing the question "can you find the aardvark in the picture?"

You wouldn't believe how many asked what was an aardvark.

The captions kept referring to the soldiers as being male. Are they sure about that?

King Zelensky has started drafting women. So were anyone women doing the retreating or blocking?
