Hey guys I’ve tried burning down the search function and failed. Is there a preferred inlet for ordering a Manners mini chassis stock to fit the new American Rifle Company Coup De Grace long action? I want to get the order rolling as I know I’m in for a long wait. Thanks for any help!

Mausingfield is it's own inlet. Nucleus and Archimedes are different, but do believe the CDG to be similar to Arch with a longer ejection port. My Arch didn't fit well in a Mausingfield inlet Foundation, swapped to a chassis and accuracy instantly was better.

There are enough floating around at various vendors, no need to wait. I have the CDG short action. Drops right into the LRH. I emailed Manners and they explained that any 700 inlet works as long as the stock sits below the "waterline" so the bolt release does not require a special "cut out". LRH and TCS are 2 examples of this. Just bought a LRH from OTM. Arrived in the mail a few days later. Just need to get a M5 style BDM. I got mine from Pure Precision. Works great with AW mags without any modification. Only the LRH with mini chassis requires a BDM. AI other mini chassis do not. If you go for the TCS, you wont need a BDM.

Hope this helps.

Sorry I didn’t report back with my findings once I received my action and stock. I ordered my Manners mini chassis with the Archimedes inlet and the CDG sits in perfectly. I don’t see any areas that I would want anything different. Thanks for your help along the way.

Pro hunter with mini chassis requires bottom metal as well, not just LRH, I've had a few.

So you went with the mini chassis DBM and run AW mags?

This action was a long action so I haven’t worked with the AW mags yet. My next build is a short action CDG and I plan to run it in a mini chassis but not sure about magazine placement without modifying a magazine catch.
