Havent used him personally, but check Precision Barrel Works in Hempstead. Heard good things, and talked with him some.

I’ll add to the group that recommends Precision Barrel Work, Pete is a great guy and does great work.
He is also fast, does not work on anything but bolt actions.

Outside of lake Jackson , Ken is good people , usually busy with machine shop work as gun work is secondary , very meticulous
