Rifle Scopes Wilcox MRF xe vs Raptor xe

Lasers!!!!

Tagged as I've been looking at these too.

From what I've found / heard, the Raptar is ~5oz heavier at 12.5oz but has IR laser and illuminator onboard. I think they both speak the same language so cabling to a clip on should be the same

I would think the RAPTAR Xe replaces the previous RAPTARs, so you still have two options:

- MRF Xe: LRF with AB and stuff
- RAPTAR Xe: LRF with AB and stuff, plus IR laser/illum

From what I understand, the RAPTAR Xe uses the newer/faster LRF used in the MRF.

To throw one more unit into the conversation, the envision unit mostly just brings a small overall footprint to the table?

I believe the guys at Strictly Offensive Kit, such as @SkyScrapin , know more about the Envision unit than anyone else here.

I was looking at a combo of the MRF and RAID, but I think one of these solves the problem perfectly. Running one of these with something like the Steiner IFS system would be pretty ace.

At essentially the same price point I see no real reason to get the MARS over the MRF. The MRF has more computational ability and is relatively close to the same footprint.

Any news on a civilian Raptar xe on the horizon?

Did Envision fix the DOF issue on the MARS?
