Anyone have enough experience with these scopes to test their calibration? I've heard the tracking is very good, glass is very good, but if I dial in 29 minutes am I getting an exact 29 minutes of elevation?

I would suggest you test your scope and see how well yours tracks. The word is the SIII's are very good, but to know if 29 moa is 29 moa on yours, you need to test it.
You can print a grid of 1/4 or any other sized lines. If you don't have the software or can't make Word do it, download the free ware from Turbo Cad...

Don't have one yet. I'm considering one. The scope I'm using now has a 2.75% margin of error. I know how to find error and how to make the adjustment for it, I'm just trying to find out if anyone has done any serious calibration tests for the SIII. So far I like everything else about the Sightrons.
