IN YOUR HEAD
Saw this posted on the 6gt group and honestly got pretty pissed. Granted no one is entitled to a discount and it's a graceful thing for companies to provide one..... but to tell this guy he's not good enough is really really fucked up. People should know about this.

That does suck on the face of it. There may be more to it but if they state that they provide a Veteran's discount, this guy certainly has a legitimate gripe

I was thinking about this some more. Dude has email to prove what exactly was said and I will try and get those from him. No reason to lie when all his personal information is out there and would be easy to call BS on it.

I am sure all my buddies who died in combat or in training on their first enlistment, before they could complete their contract; feel like they didn't earn a discount either. Luckily they aren't alive to try and use it.

I dont know the rest of the story here, but there is a history of an F-U attitude at SAC.
I like many of their products but take my business elsewhere.

Just tell him to quit whining and pay the price just like everybody else has to.
You are a moron. Go back in your hole.

The irony here is there a SAC 11% discount code just about everyone knows about and has used for years. No one is ever questioned or forced to provide documentation.

Vet discount is 10%. To shit on a service disabled vet when the owner was a single enlistment air winger which is about 1 step up from the dmv and then let EVERYONE use 11% off just boggles the mind.

So why doesn't the guy stop whining about his 10% discount and go grab the 11% everybody discount and be happy?

You could always send him that 11% off code and tell him he's getting an even better deal.

I assume you have sent the guy the 11% discount code right?

That would make him better off than before.

Maybe your buddy has a fucked up “exit code” like a BHJ, BLM, BMN, etc that makes it look like something it isn’t? If he got hurt in training or medically separated he may have a generic “unfit for service code” they could throw someone off if they didn’t get the whole story or have more to go on.

What’s your friends exit code?

He obviously didn't know about it and yea I already hooked him up. Not sure why you are acting like a faggot about all this but feel free to exit.

First of all, it's cheesy as fuck to keep asking for veteran discounts

Second of all, don't be a cheesedick and stop comparing some guy's service against another.

Now for clarity this is not a friend of mine I don't even know the guy.

What I do know, is the regulations for chaptering out military folks since it was one of my MOS. Within the first 180 days you can either quit or be separated and it's like you were never in. Called an IET sep at the time. Since this guy was in over 180 days he is considered a full service member according to US code and is entitled to benefits such as the VA and anything relating to service connection.

Guy raised his hand and enlisted in the marines. Shit happened outside his control and he was forced out after graduating boot. There are tens of thousands of people in the same situation or similar. Most of them wanted to serve and it was taken from them, which is probally more painfully emotionally than never enlisting in first place. They were almost there.

For a company to tell him he is not deserving is a huge fuck you to all those that raised their hand and sacrificed their body and mind for this nation.

If Mark Gordon knows about this or it came from him then it makes him a massive piece of shit and a disgrace to the uniform. If he didn't know about it whoever sent that email needs to be fired. Either way people need to know how one of the big names in this Industry is treating its customers and how it treats veterans.

Nah, Mark Gordon’s personal opinion obviously supersedes regulation lol

Thank me for my service. I know I joined for the discounts too and the ability to be mad at shit that has nothing to do with me. Who fucking cares. The guy was a boot. He even says “I understand” and then bitches about it showing he really doesn’t understand.

What's your military resume?

That way we can decide if you rate anything or are just a pussy POG shitbag who joined for free college and to get his buck teeth fixed.

Be careful where you start drawing lines.

Let me also pull my ruler out so we can measure penises. Just do your job and don’t entitle yourself to discounts. This is why a lot of companies don’t give discounts because military karens are the worst.

SAC has an account here, or used to. Maybe some one can tag them and give them a chance to respond. It can't be about the money, we are literally talking about $5 here.

Doesn't get much more boot than using "Semper Fi" multiple times in an email.

Calm down folks, I asked SAC if they offer one, they replied they do. I provided proof and was honest. I completed Bootcamp, I reached Lance Corporal, E3, I have the infamous National defense medal. due to my injury I was assisting on the base legal (not my orig MOS) dept until I was honorably discharged. I was in a little over a year. After Sac decided to deny the discount, I honestly thought they made a mistake per their reply.
Their reply assumed I didnt complete bootcamp and was medically seperated.
So I replied and sent them my VA ID card to prove I am a service connected disabled Vet.
they want to stand by their decision. I understand.

I bought their die in 6GT recently, was going to order a mandrel for it.
Our sport isnt cheap, if I / Veterans can save a few bucks awesome. I enjoy military discounts through other brands and dont take it for granted. I appreciate every service member who served before, with and after me.

I remember one Young Marine, 18 yr old who fell off the stair way to heaven broke his hip and his pins in 3 places, got 100% disability for life.
God forbid he enjoys shooting like we do and tries to buy SAC gear with a military discount to get denied.

That is all. Have a good day!

I bet he’d get the discount if he sent a picture of himself in cool brovet nine line or grunt style shirt.
LOL I have grunt style shirts before it was cool! I have OG Magpul and Haley strategic shirts too.

You got nothing to be ashamed of man. You did your service as best you could and half these retards talking shit either never served, served during peacetime or was in some pog ass job where they never been in combat. They just want to be edgy and shit on someone else they deem lessor then their sad pathetic lives.

If a company offers a mil discount then there is no shame in asking for it. People who shit on that just feel like they didn't do enough to earn it. It's their insecurities pointing outward.

The owner of the company a fucking airwinger got the balls to tell another marine he's not deserving. This is like some shit out of terminal lance.

The dudes with one year enlistments are definitely the guys wearing grunt style and 9 line everytime they leave the house. Their truck windows look like billboards, and they call their wives "household 6". Keep that hair high and tight, and make sure everyone knows they are a God damn veteran.

Yawn

Thank you Brother. Deny a military discount ok, but dont disrespect or misinterpret our service. We all signed a blank check. Some things just dont pan out.

I would advise you just spend less time on anything like this. You joined and served. Which is more that many are willing/want to do. And I'd personally have extended the discount if I were on the other side.

But, there's just too many other things out there that are a better use of your personal time. Making the FB post, then coming over here.....nothing "wrong" with that. But it's just time an energy that really isn't worth it. If you want to raise awareness to bad companies (not saying you are saying SAC is a bad company), there's plenty of other companies out there all over who aren't very good and people would benefit much more about knowing about them, than about SAC not giving a 10% in this particular instance.

I'm sure it's annoying to have wanted to serve and basically having to get out when it really wasn't your fault. An it probably brings up that annoyance when someone doesn't acknowledge the desire you had to serve. But, it just not worth the brainpower/time to post about it.

I mean this sincerely. You're just going to end up with 50% of the people replying either not agreeing with you, or trolling. Over spilled milk.

"Don't disrespect our service"?

Bro. That's the fucking problem. You think you are owed respect for...... fucking what?

I promise you the hardest door kicking motherfuckers I've ever known, with body counts higher than the Spanish flu don't even want people to know they were in the military. They don't feel entitled to a fucking thing.

So they don't use ID.me or VerifyPass like so many other companies that generously offer a veteran discount that they don't have to?

I think its kinda shitty to not extend a veteran discount to somebody who sent you a copy of their DD214. That being said, it also ain't worth getting buthurt about - don't act like an entitled snowflake on the interwebs, simply take your business elsewhere.

You know another guy who tried to become a marine and got injured and never was able to serve in the fleet?

Mother fucking Phil Labonte. Hardcore gun supporter and one of the best voices in Metalcore. He left his band so he could serve and shit just didn't pan out. Anyone who has some shit to say deserves to get bitch slapped because that's exactly what they are, a bitch.

Sorry you have poor reading comprehension.
Nowhere did I say I was owed respect Newbie :ROFLMAO:

Pot, meet kettle.

It was you who was shitting on a business owner because he was a "single enlistment air winger which is about 1 step up from the dmv"
Seems to be a consistent theme with this fella

Your post has a lot of hypocrisy. Calling retards because serving during peacetime/pog but the guy is both of those things. So he’s a retard too?

You state people should be proud they served then you try to be better than him by calling him out to be an air winger.

You would pick up on the irony if you got above a 32 on the ASVAB. Its ok. The world needs ditch diggers and people named after pokemon.

If you are going to shit on someone elses services then there is always someone who can shit on you. The same as there are dudes who would shit on me. There is always a badder mother fucker than anyone who can play the same game.

Would I normal make fun of someone for being in the airwing? Not unless they were a buddy and we are just messing with each other. When someone who is from a low risk non combat community wants to shit on a guy who got injured then they are going to get the shit thrown back in their face. Maybe they would learn maybe they wont. Probably not since most of you cant even pick up on whats going on and need a fucking instruction manual or pictures to explain the situation. I would make a Marine joke but you will probably run to the mods and report it.
