You would pick up on the irony if you got above a 32 on the ASVAB. Its ok. The world needs ditch diggers and people named after pokemon.
It’s the internet. Don’t get mad. I know you see the hypocrisy but I’ll forgive you because I love Pokémon.

So they don't use ID.me or VerifyPass like so many other companies that generously offer a veteran discount that they don't have to?

I think its kinda shitty to not extend a veteran discount to somebody who sent you a copy of their DD214. That being said, it also ain't worth getting buthurt about - don't act like an entitled snowflake on the interwebs, simply take your business elsewhere.
That would make too much sense I guess. All other reloading, firearms related gear sites I use provided me military discounts. I use Expertvoice for many brand discounts.

Not butt hurt, just surprised they see my service as not worthy of a military discount. Like I and others have said, what if a PFC was blown up by an IED and couldnt fufil his 4 yr enlistment? No discount for him either. Thats how SAC say they roll then so be it. All good. I still will buy the mandrel for my die.

I remember one Young Marine, 18 yr old who fell off the stair way
I know 2 guys discharged after training accidents, although they made it a little further. 1 in FRIES & 1 in HAHO or HALO, both totally fucked up their backs and the rest of their lives. I would be incredulous if a company denied a discount

Mother fucking Phil Labonte.
Funny, always took you for a KPOP kinda guy

If his name was "DeathBeforeMidpack" this would be a self correcting problem........
You talk alot of shit for a bad shooter who doesn't even show up when challenged. Surprised your tails not still between your legs from bitching out.

Yeah...ide like to hear the other side of the story...

Something tells me there's more were not hearing

I appreciate your comment. So here is the deal.

First off, this is a simple misunderstanding that is getting a little out of control. When one of the guys in my office who was handling this situation (who also is a former Marine who served honorably) brought this up to my attention, I was told that this individual had been separated before completing USMC bootcamp. The spirit of our military/law enforcement discount is to give back to those who have made sacrifices and served this country honorably.

Based on that information, I instructed my employee to not honor our MIL/LEO discount and that was the last I had heard of this.

After being informed of this post, I looked through the E-mail chain to see where the breakdown was. I found that yesterday (1-30-24) the individual replied via E-mail stating that we must have misread his E-mail and he was honorably discharged, he has a VA card and he wasn't discharged before graduating Bootcamp. At the end of the E-mail the individual stated that "if we didn't feel like he earned a discount, he understood ''.

We get people all the time asking for discounts in general, and specifically asking for Military discounts. However when we ask for some kind of credentials and we get stories on how they actually didn't serve, and their brother or family member did a long time ago or something along those lines.

This is where we made a mistake and could have done better. My employee should have informed me of the update in information and we would have gladly given the discount, however we replied that "we stand by our decision". I'm not sure why that was our response, however I will be handling the situation in the morning.

Myself and the whole team here have always supported Veterans. We have donated rifles, services, parts and my personal time to multiple Veterans organizations to include "The Foundation For Exceptional Warriors" and "The Home Deployment Project".

So yes, we made a mistake and should have handled this situation better, however in nearly 15 years of serving this community, this is the first time I can recall we have had an issue like this. Ultimately, it is a failure on my part because I failed to properly train my team on situations like this and lately, while at the shop I have not been very available to my team.

We all make mistakes, I have and always will face them square on. I appreciate the people who have informed me of this situation so I can ensure we get it taken care of properly.

Respectfully,

Mark Gordon

Awesome response. Shit happens.

Was entertaining to see our favorite dunce insult the .mil service of the SAC owner without verifying if the SAC owner was in fact aware of the whole situation. While also sticking up for the .mil service of someone that he would normally shit on.

Thats how SAC rolls apparently. All good, it was 10%. Not end of the world. There are other options, Redding, RCBS, Forster, Whidden, etc.

What if he signed every post:

“Sincerely,

DEATHBEFOREDISMOUNT”

Then he could instantly cultivate a persona worthy of all our respect.

This is for you dismount. Every time it’s a measuring contest, this makes me laugh at military Karen’s all the time.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little shit? Ill have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and Ive been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and Im the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. Youre fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and thats just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little clever comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldnt, you didnt, and now youre paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. Youre fucking dead, kiddo.
PapaRocks ? Is that you ? Please, please be PapaRocks.

You got nothing to be ashamed of man. You did your service as best you could and half these retards talking shit either never served, served during peacetime or was in some pog ass job where they never been in combat. They just want to be edgy and shit on someone else they deem lessor then their sad pathetic lives.

If a company offers a mil discount then there is no shame in asking for it. People who shit on that just feel like they didn't do enough to earn it. It's their insecurities pointing outward.

The owner of the company a fucking airwinger got the balls to tell another marine he's not deserving. This is like some shit out of terminal lance.

You sound mad about someone having a higher ASVAB score than you could muster.

Come on Brocephus, face it. There's lots of guys out there that are much, much smarter than you. They are also smart enough to serve without having to accept a job where you get shot at...

Jealousy is an ugly thing.

Did you really just throw a fucking eagle/globe/anchor into your fucking post?

So much bro vet energy that I want to vomit.

You're one of those dudes standing in line at Applebee's telling boot camp stories while you wait for your free appetizer on veterans day in a fresh high and tight and some issue boots with your dog tags proudly displayed over your brcc shirt. I fucking guarantee it.
