Most are running the Pic rail, I believe most of the recent production rifles came with them.
Are most of you running the pic rail instead of the dovetail mount?
Wtf would you even want dovetail is this 1996?
Coming from a CZ 527 owner, unless you’re an aesthete, go with the pic rail and enjoy effortless scope+ring swaps between rifles and a much much wider variety of rings/mounts.Are most of you running the pic rail instead of the dovetail mount?
LRI going to do bolt work ?I picked up a nice 2014 AT folder locally, and want to change it to green thumb hole skins. Looks like I need a green pistol grip kit, and then the thumb hole conversion? Or is there an easier way to go about it? I'm signed up for notifications with Mile High and will keep an eye on Sporting Services. Probably going to require some patience.
Should compliment my AT-X nicely!

LRI going to do bolt work ?
No it’s SFP but pitted from awesome reloading skills.Maybe he's only shooting 308
Just the green thumb hole kit and the front panels. I don't reload so I am always looking for good factory ammo but their cost is high compared to FGMM which works pretty well. I want something in 308 with a bit more MV than FGMMHonestly, it has been good (and frigging expensive). It shot my first break-in groups into 4+1, so I just messed with seating depth a touch and .005 further in everything came together.
This is my second go-round at 655 and these results mirrored the first attempt.
When these are gone this barrel will never see a factory loaded round again .
Nice find on the AT.
It wasn't quite as bad as the pictures made it out to be (still not great though). There are three small pits in the bolt face, and a little bit of a ring, but can barely feel that. Trying to decide if I can live with it, but will probably call LRI and see about having it fixed. Rifle looks pretty mint otherwise.LRI going to do bolt work ?
That's what I was hoping for, but was having a hard time finding the front panels separately. I'm likely just blind though. Thanks for the info!Just the green thumb hole kit and the front panels. The pistol grip pieces get replaced with the thumb hole kit.
Looks like a good fixer-upper project. Should be sweet once that bolt gets cleaned up and skins etc. are sourced. It wasn't quite as bad as the pictures made it out to be (still not great though). That's what I figured. Couldn't pass it up for the price, and have always wanted a thumb hole AT.Looks like a good fixer-upper project. Should be sweet once that bolt gets cleaned up and skins etc. are sourced.

What causes this? Overpressure? I’m not a reloader. It wasn't quite as bad as the pictures made it out to be (still not great though). Mile High shows that they have the AT non thumb hole green in stock 26966GR. https://www.milehighshooting.com/accuracy-international-26966-at-aics-stock-sides-sa-folding/Just the green thumb hole kit and the front panels. The pistol grip pieces get replaced with the thumb hole kit.
Don’t we all…I want something in 308 with a bit more MV than FGMM
Why buy 3 though? If you buy a LH AXSR it'll come with one...My insurance policy just arrived
All three Left handed bolt bodies plus a spare left-handed shroud/firing pin assembly for the AXSR. Now all I need is the rifle...LOL

With hot factory ammo you can still start popping primers. The .mil ASR (Mk22) apparently has been known to pop 300 Norma primers. What causes this? Overpressure? I’m not a reloader.
Good questionWhy buy 3 though? If you buy a LH AXSR it'll come with one...
I don't know what you paid for the AT...LOLI think you have more money tied up in those bolts than I bought my AT for
I’m one of the cool kids with the heavy bolt lift AT-X now. View attachment 8339155

Any deets on this inegrated-ABR-bag-rider setup? Is this the 50 cal or modified 338/ASR rifle?

I think we need to doxx @Nik H and get AI & all the retailers to boycott him. He seems to have single-handedly cornered the market on AI lefty bolts, all manner of skins in all colors, and god only knows what else lolMy insurance policy just arrived

No man smart enough to buy all three available left hand bolts is dumb enough to have 6 wives….I think we need to doxx @Nik H and get AI & all the retailers to boycott him. I bet he has 5 identical backup trucks, 8 diesel backup generators, 6 wives, three stoves in his house (with 6 microwaves), and 3 entire warehouses full of toilet paper…
It was you @Nik H that bought all the toilet paper during the pandemic. Right?
But they are from Backup-Wives™. He keeps them in their original wrapping paper on a shelf in a hermetically sealed box in the “off” state. When one gets too old she is recycled and the new one is activated by inserting the dongle with the Cook/Clean/Orals subroutine on it.No man smart enough to buy all three available left hand bolts is dumb enough to have 6 wives….

OK tks. At first I though that Left-side QR lever was for adjusting the ABR up/down and was like holy-fook !! On second glance, seems ABR is bolted to the PIC rail and ajdusted normall 50 Cal rear stock just has the new QR for LOP adjustment, I think..now everything is making sense. That's the ABR from Longshot Precision:
...
That must be the 50 because that is not an AXSR buttstock it's on
I bought a spare AXSR trigger from EO a while back. Do they offer two different types now because all I ever heard of was the one AXSR offering? So I'm going to buy another trigger for my AXSR as a backup... I'm traveling to a couple of matches this year that I really can't afford to have a malfunction at, and I figure if anything is going to give me problems it's the trigger. Would you buy another standard trigger or get the Comp trigger? I guess the thought is I'd run the comp trigger and try it out, and keep the standard trigger as a backup. I do really like the standard trigger in the AXSR, I have lightened the 2nd stage up a bit, but there were times shooting really far, like 2200 far, on small targets, that I wished for a little lighter break. Nothing that made me say I absolutely gotta have a lighter trigger, but if I'm getting another....
I totally thought the comp trigger fit the axsr?I bought a spare AXSR trigger from EO a while back. Do they offer two different types now because all I ever heard of was the one AXSR offering.

Take comfort the comp trigger is overrated and you have the trigger in the axsr that failed the psr solitation allegedly....
Stop the presses. LH bolt hoarding notwithstanding, I believe I got Mr. @Nik H mixed up with a certain @VSP968 AI hoarder. My insurance policy just arrived
