When in reality….Meh, free recoil, fast 6's, that's so 2023. All the guys that have been making fun of 6.5 'manbun' will soon be singing it's praises again, and saying the 6 shooters are ghey.
Damn... savage. You aren't wrong, but if I have to shoot a dinky ass short action cartridge it'll be the 6.5 creedmoor .. I reserve my .308 bullets for a real cartridge.like the 300 Norma.
I’ll see your ridiculous amount of powder consumption and premature throat wear and raise you the time of flight of a wounded homing pigeonDamn... savage. You never cease to amaze me!Have not posted in a bit, same old rattle can MC, Got bored and went to the shop to play Mr. potato head with the MC today. Made a ELR specific forearm with bridge to mount the prism, lol, Just have to figure out what color to spray paint it, hopefully Walmart has it in stock MC/SR's are so versatile.

A touch over 2.97".Kinda miss my 260AI. Wish I had an axsr barrel for it. Out of curiosity what is max OAL for 308 axsr mags? More than the old AICS and AW mags

No way is that a 308 projectile, way to sleek and it would have a bc much better than 1.2 G7 or whatever your 308 is rocking. Here's a more accurate picture of a 308 in flight:

Wow we don't see anything like this in the Barrett MRAD thread , thank god....... Does AI include poppers when you buy a rifle ?

Hey any manufacturer can get a bad lot of material. The question is how do they handle it.Wheres the pic of the dumpster full of mrad frames that had to be destroyed due to them cracking ? Asking for a friend

Thing is the easy button. Point click dead

More stable , better for accuracy etc. Takes longer to deploy. Less versatile you can’t slide it back closer to you. Takes longer to removeHow do you like the Elite Iron bipod compared to the tbac?

Ahh here we see MRAD in their native habitat
Cracking are you serious, they had to be cut with a torch . Put a torch to the AI and the plastic and glue melts that holds it together.

Tbac is quick , stable enough ,
I like the elite a lot for steadiness / long small shots but the reason I finally got a arca mount to put on my AI is for sideways rooftops at matches. I had cyke bit they are junk sold them. There was a rooftop ^ you shoot left side then right side at MKM. kicked my ass with the tbac. Lol. The elite swivels all the way so will be perfect if I ever have time to shoot matches /practice
I like them enough that 1 has a permanent hone on my AWM

Aw dang! I did not know that about the EI. Shit I was planning on pulling the trigger on one. Thanks for that..The elite iron works until the mount starts to flex and bend and the ring starts to contact the barrel....
The correct term I believe you are looking for is , Remington 700 in a aics chassis ... Not awm
Shot with a guy at the NF elr challenge last year who's ei had to be bent back every stage because it was bending and contracting the barrel... @Mr. F did you ever get that one fixed?
Yeah I'll have to withhold judgement on this one till Mr. F checks in.. I've got an an EI and at its thinnest the mount steel is .12". Not saying it can't happen, but it had to be an excessive amount of force applied somewhere. I'd think the forend on the AXSR would pop first.Shot with a guy at the NF elr challenge last year who's ei had to be bent back every stage because it was bending and contracting the barrel... @Mr. F did you ever get that one fixed?
He keeps tryna sneak that thing in here lolThe elite iron works until the mount starts to flex and bend and the ring starts to contact the barrel....

I have used my EI for years with no flex or failure of any kind. It works as well today as it did when new.The elite iron works until the mount starts to flex and bend and the ring starts to contact the barrel....

You are the poster child for durability tests

Did you buy the lightweight or panning model or the regular one? How you can get it to flex is beyond me.
Bought an MDA Ckye Pod recently and I am also pretty impressed with that one.
Barrel availability is why I sold mine. Non-existent here.MRAD owners are a unique bunch for sure.
I love comparing caliber conversion times in the field, RTZ accuracy, and overall accuracy with them. Barrel availability is also quite amusing
Okay gents
Did I get lucky? Is this a SFP bolt body?
Numbers on bolt body say 20974
Looks large. But check. What year rifle?Okay gents

Guessing a 14 or 15. Your numbers about 600 later than my 2014 AT which is large
It wasn't mine it was @Mr. F 's however I did inspect it and it was bending and flexing from the steel that came from the mount to the ring. I also shot it and watched it move poi when the ring came in contact with the barrel
Good deal thank youShould be large than
SFP began sometime in 2015 models I believeGood deal thank you

I like the Atlas Cal with RRS arca/picatinny mountSo I need to upgrade my bipod to something more sturdy and adaptable than a Harris.
What is the going consensus from the esteemed members of this establishment on a good all around general purpose bipod that plays nice with ARCA rail? I see lots of options, but have no direct experience with anything but Harris products.
I’ve read through some threads but still can’t make up my mind. Going to live on my AT-X whatever I choose.
Atlas Cal Gen II. I have 2 now. One has the RRS clamp for both Arca and picatinny. Also has the hawk hill talon feet. You can find those in the px. There was one in there a couple days agoSo I need to upgrade my bipod to something more sturdy and adaptable than a Harris.

Really this should be its own thread. Already many other threads that most of us here have commented in
In short I’ve owned many Harris (like 6), GGG, Accutac, Atlas and TBAC. I now own 2 Atlas that I use
