You never cease to amaze me!Have not posted in a bit, same old rattle can MC, Got bored and went to the shop to play Mr. potato head with the MC today. Made a ELR specific forearm with bridge to mount the prism, lol, Just have to figure out what color to spray paint it, hopefully Walmart has it in stockMC/SR's are so versatile.

No way is that a 308 projectile, way to sleek and it would have a bc much better than 1.2 G7 or whatever your 308 is rocking. Here's a more accurate picture of a 308 in flight:

Hey any manufacturer can get a bad lot of material. The question is how do they handle it.
How do you like the Elite Iron bipod compared to the tbac?
More stable , better for accuracy etc. Takes longer to deploy. Less versatile you can’t slide it back closer to you. Takes longer to remove
Tbac is quick , stable enough ,
I like the elite a lot for steadiness / long small shots but the reason I finally got a arca mount to put on my AI is for sideways rooftops at matches. I had cyke bit they are junk sold them. There was a rooftop ^ you shoot left side then right side at MKM. kicked my ass with the tbac. Lol. The elite swivels all the way so will be perfect if I ever have time to shoot matches /practice
I like them enough that 1 has a permanent hone on my AWM

Cracking are you serious, they had to be cut with a torch . Put a torch to the AI and the plastic and glue melts that holds it together.
MRAD owners are a unique bunch for sure.

Shot with a guy at the NF elr challenge last year who's ei had to be bent back every stage because it was bending and contracting the barrel... @Mr. F did you ever get that one fixed?
Yeah I'll have to withhold judgement on this one till Mr. F checks in.. I've got an an EI and at its thinnest the mount steel is .12". Not saying it can't happen, but it had to be an excessive amount of force applied somewhere. I'd think the forend on the AXSR would pop first.

Did you buy the lightweight or panning model or the regular one? How you can get it to flex is beyond me.

It wasn't mine it was @Mr. F 's however I did inspect it and it was bending and flexing from the steel that came from the mount to the ring. I also shot it and watched it move poi when the ring came in contact with the barrel
Barrel availability is why I sold mine. Non-existent here.
Only way to tell is to pin gauge the fp hole on the bolt or it you have another SFP see how much clearance there is around the tip when it's protruded

Pull the firing pin assembly and put calipers to the firing pin.

So I need to upgrade my bipod to something more sturdy and adaptable than a Harris.
What is the going consensus from the esteemed members of this establishment on a good all around general purpose bipod that plays nice with ARCA rail? I see lots of options, but have no direct experience with anything but Harris products.

I like the Atlas Cal with RRS arca/picatinny mount
Atlas Cal Gen II. I have 2 now. One has the RRS clamp for both Arca and picatinny. Also has the hawk hill talon feet. You can find those in the px. There was one in there a couple days ago

In short I’ve owned many Harris (like 6), GGG, Accutac, Atlas and TBAC. I now own 2 Atlas that I use
