I wish thermal was an option but it's not.

Looking for a weapon mounted light, AR Plat form. Decent throw rechargeable or battery

Looked through the search and either I'm dumb (entirely possible) or it wasn't pulling up anything useful.

Shots will be sub 200

Thanks in advance.

I’ve shot a yote at 125 with a 10 year old X300 so 150-200 is easily doable with any modern high quality 18650 weapon light although you might want to be looking for a head with a tight beam like for example the Surefire Turbo

M6400 FT Pro
Modlite HOG
Arisaka 600 + malkoff head

Streamlight HLX if on a budget - you can even get the arisaka adapter for the good surefire tail switches. That one might be a bit of a struggle in the 150-200 range …

Any of these will do and can also be used as a good SD weapon might.

If you plan to take most of your shots at around 200 and/or want a dedicated hunting light you can get those with variable zoom lense style
Usually these are straight from China/aliexpress with a fancy name. They work but the durability is nowhere close to an actual Surefire WML
Something like this :

I wouldn’t expect the remote switch to last a very long time but the torch should last

This, they work out to 200ish in open terrain. They also sell a motion activated green feeder light. Use one or a cellular game camera to know when one is under the feeder….if that is the hunting plan.

I have a bunch or red lights. The ultrafire with a quick release to swap around is my favorite. You can ID animals a few hundred yards. Eye shine to about 1,000, maybe a little more. They do not make the same model I have anymore. But this one looks better.
Links to Amazon are not working. Look up the Ultrafire RC20 pro. Also, Ultrafire 18650 batteries are really good. I've got a bunch of different brank 18650s and these last the longest.

Fenix HT 18 is quite good.

at 300m, the back wall is 316-325m and it gets lit up well too.

It has 3 power settings so can be used for variety of things if needed and 2 throw beams, outer spreads fast and the inner is just the perfect size for close and longer ranges.
21700 battery with built-in usb c port, comes with an adapter for 18650 and it does well also.

Also red and green filters were included.
Bought the remote switch and mount separately

I'm a fan of collimator type lights this purpose. I've got a couple of the Exude light (https://www.exudelight.com/) OD25's & a OD40 and they're very good. I'd not recommend the OD25 for anything other than a rimfire, the OD40 is the one suitable for centerfire.

My one word of warning would be to put a tiny dab of a a none setting thread locker/sealant on the threads for the removable ring used to hold the colour filters as the tolerances are a little loose.

What about a Pulsar Digex C50 colored night vision scope for $1400? The one I have in demo is impressive to 400yds on deer/larger hog and dead nuts bright sight pic at 250yds.

Assuming IR I really like my Z-Bolt Blazer. Great throw and adjustable from 2 degrees to 20 degrees. Still IR and money's no object? BEM Kiji 3 degree! Channeling my inner @TheHorta

You know, quality NV has become very affordable compared to thermal technology.

Here's 2 great digital day/night vision scope options for what you're wanting them for...

Add a long range 850nm IR light, and you've got an excellent setup.

I'm running the AGM Neith and Sioux 850 light setup on my hog rig. Haven't been hunting, but spent plenty of time behind it, looking around in the woods and around the house. I'm really liking the image quality it produces.

And while they're on sale, I ordered one of the Sightmark Wraith 4K Mini 2-16x scopes just for shits and giggles, and to see if it's any good. I might end up tossing it on one of my .300 BLK pistols, or maybe my 10/22 for varmint control. Or, if the quality surprises me, I might toss it on my 14.5" M4 5.56 since it's a day/night scope.

Sniper Hog Lights are amazing. Most will come with a green and a red diopter or whatever they are called. I don't offhand know of a light that can compare.
The coyote cannon is indeed an absolute beast of an IR light!

I have taken a few hogs at night with my wicked light. And you can focus the light for longer ranges or flood the area.

Guys we all knew it was coming to this. We are the greatest salesmen of all times.
Man looking for a $200 flashlight leaves our shop with $1400 night vision.

But to that I say, you can buy a new 640px sensor TQ50 thermal for 2.2K.

Before I order it... the rattler ts 25 is $50 more than the ts 19. Should I just spend the $50?
