Too little, too late. As much as this was NYAG's attempt to break the NRA, the NRA tried to defend WLP instead of joining the suite against him.
There are still too many WLP suck ups in the organization who looked the other way.

Come on guys, give Wayne a break. Fighting for our 2nd Amendment rights is a thankless and exhausting job. I don’t think a multimillion dollar yearly salary, $2k suits, luxury vacations, and multiple mansions, all paid for by the membership, is unreasonable. Afterall, look at all the NRA has accomplished under his leadership

Well apparently the board of directors gave Wayne a $17 million severance package. WiTF
That's why the board need replaced. I hope that an independent accountant is appointed. Then we can dump the board and non elected positions.
