How much play has the Hide observed between SP10 uppers and lowers? My set allows a .007 feeler gauge between the receivers and feels quite loose. Receiver fitment was one of the reasons for getting a SP10 kit and I am wondering if my expectations were too high.

I don’t care enough to measure but there is play in the SP10 uppers and lowers. They are not a snug fit at all.
Thanks for the reply, might just cerakote it and use it. My other large frame guns have slop just not as much as this Seekins receiver set.
I assembled all the parts and threw an empty mag in it and it still has play, enough to observe while dry firing off of bags.
I have 2 sets. Zero play, I need a tool to push out the takedown pins.
That is what I was expecting.
My receiver set I got last year had a lot of play in them as well. Still shoots really good so I haven't bother to do anything to mitigate it.

Interesting. My factory SP10 and my builder’s kit both have a fair amount of play in them. Neither are sloppy. Now the Daniel Defense large frames are as tight as can be.
I’ve had two SP10’s, a builders set and a Gap10. All had play in them.
I sent the set back to Seekins and they made it much better. They went from sloppy to having some play. Still not as tight as some frankin guns I've built though. I think I am good with it now.
I just got a gap10 le upper and sp10 lower. No play at all extremely tight.
Sadly this is looking like it is a 50/50 deal with Seekins SP10 Receivers.
