If you're using a mount that goes over a brake or something like the Area419 Hellfire mount that adds additional baffles, does it improve the barrel ratings? Can you then use barrels shorter than 16"?
 
Nice job on the Fly 45 Ray! What is the weights for the Fly 45 in L & K config, compared to the O45 and the G45M?

It's one thing reading the specs online, it's another seeing it in person. Mine arrived at my FFL yesterday and they have an on-site range, so I got to play with it.

Here's my Fly 45 next to my buddy's Obsidian 9:

The Fly 45 is noticeably lighter in the hand. Frankly, it's mind blowing that you can put this can on a 16" 308 rifle. o_O Also, that it uses HUB thread while being the same diameter as a 9mm can is impressive.

Hearing it, it was very impressive. Even indoors (25 yard range, 10 lanes) it's very quiet on both platforms I tested it on. Tested it on my G47 with 147gr. handloads and on my G40 with 220gr. handloaded subs (~1020 fps). To my ears, there was not a significant difference. Was alone on the range, so I was able to pull the muff up and listen. Loving this can!
