NY Gov. Sending National Guard to the Subway LOL

https://www.newsmax.com/us/new-york-city-subway-national-guard/2024/03/06/id/1156199/

Like some third-world shit hole, you cannot ride the subway in NYC without the risk of being robbed, stabbed, beaten up or pushed onto the tracks. But thankfully, the NYC subway is a "gun free" zone, so at least we know criminals won't be armed :)

BUT as usual the "National Guard" are NOT there to help stop crime or make anyone safer.

They and the rest of the Uniform Hangers ARE there to make sure that no victims think about carrying the means to defend themselves.

What do you want to bet Pale Faces and Asians are the ones who have their bags searched and those of darker skin shades are given a pass?

Yep it's all part of the plan, get stupid people to vote for their own oppression.

Life is good for a criminal these days.

They were there for the 2004 RNC, is this that different? Different kind of criminal, I’ll grant you that.

What are the ROE? Will they have live ammo?

When I traveled in Europe in the spring of 1999 every train station in German and Austria had K9 police and they were all armed with MP5's. Seemed pretty common in a lot of places in Europe to have armed police and mean ass dogs muzzled up at train stations.

Isn't this around the time Islamic terrorists were blowing up trains and train stations in Europe?

Were the RNC attendees throwing people onto the train tracks? That was 20 years ago, so I don't recall
;)
Not that I saw, that is a difference with a distinction. NG had rifles, but I don’t know if they had ammo.

Just an exercise. Practice drills/response time to a location. Think about it for a second..their devious minds at work..
Then again why wouldn't they just have the local PD handle it.

Just wondering.

Shouldn’t the governor first have to utilize state LE officers, people that have received appropriate training before activating NG soldiers ? It seems to have become a knee jerk reaction in this day to “call up the guard”. Are they being used and abused in hope they don’t renew their contract?
NY let all the inmates out early and refused to send the rest to jail, go figure.

The City and State caused this problem, now they're trying to figure out how to undo what dey did?

You would think the answer would be... just stop doing what you did. But because of what's been going on in the city/state/country, the NYPD is short staffed. (like everywhere) So even if there was no cashless bail, even if the DA's weren't playing catch and release and letting people get away with everything, even if they wanted to, they couldn't go back to Gulliani era type policing, because they don't have the manpower.

Good job!

Wanted Dead or Alive posters would work a hella lot better with relatively low bounties .

1999 so it was Bosnia/Yugo wars at the time. Prior to 9/11 and GWOT. Lots of refugees in Czech Republic while I was there. Pre EURO for the money, but they had pricing in both currencies in most countries.

Sounds like West Berlin Tempelhof airport in the early 90’s.

I lived there in 90 and 91.
Yep, as you say

Whatever happened to these guys?

Posse comitatus anyone?
NG is a state resource reporting to Governor under Title 32 unless mobilized to Federal status reporting to the President under Title 10. "State Mission" is commonly trained by National Guard - anywhere from floods/storm/fires to riot control. Title 32 = state pays. Title 10 = Feds pay. In theory, state has to compensate Federal government for equipment usage in Title 32 status.

I saw that. I hope they realize that they are the stupidest fuckers in the world and we are for sure laughing at them in NY

It would be unlikely city thugs would ever consider borrowing one of those rifles from an unsuspecting member of the Guard.

I seem to recall many years ago some NG guys were supposedly robbed of their unloaded rifles by folks with loaded guns.

There are those with loaded guns and there are those that dig...

I found this one during the plague, and it made me chuckle. Seems kind of appropriate here, too 🤣

Does the NG have military police units or is this going to be just a bunch of weekend warriors with machine guns doing their best impression of police officers?

We'll know the answer if they start shooting service dogs.

Once the ‘’ Black Swan’’ event happens here with are open borders it will most likely be like that here in the not distant future.

Police, not the fucking army.

This is really really bad.

If they want the military to run the police force, then perhaps it would be better if the military ran the .gov

Maybe they have some intel that you don’t.
I'm sure they do, but they also have a higher false flag count, as well. When considering any event, outside the box thinking is required and based upon the last 60 - 70 years, more so each year. You have to remember they (NYC & NY state) caused this problem and all tics are famous for creating a problem to take more of your rights & freedoms, thru saving/protecting you.

Yes, Army and Air National Guard have MP units. However, "state mission" which ranges from disaster response to riot control is a mission set for every Army National Guard unit. Typically, the ARNG units are in support of the police and not the tip of the spear in these situations.

I notice none of the NGs had MP patches on their uniform. Also, I would highly doubt that they have ammunition, they are just standing there giving the illusion of safety. Also, a least two of them had shaving profiles.
