WSM/PRC is the next on my chopping block to do. After the 223 hits the streets the mag bolt should be very doable. Gotta change a few things like extractor then work with mags to see what feeds best but it’s definitely in the works.

AI is making a SA mag bolt but who knows if it will ever get released. And if it does it'll be 10 years before it is released.

The SA bolt, the bolt head is just held with a roll pin correct? I dont remember.
Wonder why no one makes a aftermarket bolt head?

@trophyhunter stopped doing the 223 conversion only due to the bug holes deal but still doing the short mags

@Lonely Raven pm me if you want the gunsmith phone #. Basically you send him your bolt and he opens it up. You can get spare one from euro optic if they have any in stock

I'm waiting on a backordered 2nd AT bolt to have converted to a mag bolt face by @trophyhunter. The back order wait feel for AI stuff feels like a Form 4; eventually some month in the future it will come in :confused:

Good to go! I've just been digging into old posts b/c if I'm ever able to snag an AT-X, I'm doing a short action magnum.. the only problem I'm having is snagging the rifle first, then I'm hitting you up about the bolt and reference on a good barrel.
