I would say it depends on what you are going to do with it. I had a 11.5" on mine for a couple years and it did fine for recreational shooting. Would hold about a 4.5" group at 100 yards. I've sense started shooting more matches with the same rifle and now have a 11.5" Proof SS barrel on it and it tightened the groups up alot now its closer to moa or a little better with good match grade ammo. The way I look at it is if you want a gun that shoots as good as you possible can then you have to drop the coin on a decent barrel.
For the price I wouldn't expect much, might get lucky tho
I have a mid length 16" 308 that holds ~1.5 MOA at 100 yards. My dad has a 6.5 CM barrel that is a solid sub MOA barrel. I would expect "hunting accurate," not "match accurate..."
