WunderWaffe 1 - Vampire Vision

The Sturmgewehr 44 was the first ever assault rifle, similar to the modern M-16 and AK-47. The ZG 1229, also known by the code name Vampir, was an infra-red sight designed so that this rifle could be used by snipers at night. It was first used in combat in the last months of the war and weighed about five pounds, but was also connected to a thirty pound battery support pack, strapped to the soldier’s back.

The Little (Vintage) Scooter That Could... Maybe

It's the work of the French Military!

After World War II, there was little money for defense spending while the nations of Europe rebuilt their industry and society. When there was some cash to spend, one had to be creative to stretch it as far as possible. The French probably accomplished the most astounding example of that with the ACMA Troupes Aeról Portées Mle. 56. Deployed with their airborne forces, this was essentially a militarized Vespa scooter outfitted with a 75mm recoilless rifle. Five parachutes would carry the two-man gun crew, weapon, ammunition, and two scooters safely to earth, and the men would load the weapon on one scooter and the ammo on the other, then ride away. More impressively, the recoilless rifle could be fired effectively on the move by the best of the gun crews. Total cost? About $500 for the scooter and the recoilless rifle was war surplus. Were they successful military machines? Well, the French Army deployed about 800 armed scooters in wars conducted in both Algeria and Indochina."

They probably thought it would make a good high speed reverse gear until they understood the "recoilless" principle......

Just looked up ACTBLUE and it will make your blood boil to see the companies that have donated. Not sure how the USPS and US Army are allowed to make contributions.
My guess is that the $$$ path is circular. Get investment help starting a “company” with laundered $$$, then remit some back through the system already set up. It’s almost like the entrepreneurial dream is mostly bullshit and it is all manipulated from behind the screen. A few random CIA killers create a billion $ mail order coffee company.

You don't know what happened before the video was made. Maybe the guy in the truck was a total douche bag to the guy taking video, or maybe it was staged.
Watched a guy pull out of a hotel parking lot in truck setup for welding with a flat bed as he pulled onto the road I watched a duffle bag and a tool box fall off his bed into the road. I raced around with my window down signaling to him repeatedly. He wouldn't roll down his window and he flipped me off. This was in small town America not Detroit there are lots people that just refuse to listen....

Driving east through Ohio on I80 in the early morning. Big rig in front of me with one of his trailer brakes in fire. Same response- wouldn’t roll down window and flipped me off. Oh well

Cell phone use has nothing to do with car accidents. Same number of accidents and fatalities before and after cell phone use became widespread.
To a point. I remember reading a book more than once while driving before cell phones.... I have witnessed many many thing while driving that caused distractions. I think this is the younger generations not being able to multi task and not understanding consequences.
Never had a wreck while doing that but a few while day dreaming,

In his defense, for some reason, everyone was honking and waving at him that day. 🤣🤣🤣

That shit sucks, especially at NTC. I've never been to JRTC, but I bet it would suck there too.

When I was at George AFB, just down the road from NTC, they would have exercises every 3 months. In the summer dozens of F-4s, huffers, trucks, etc out on the flight line and everyone in MOPP 4. They’d stay in in it until the ground personnel would start passing out. Yeah, it sucked.
