I'm needing a scope for a 223 AI. I wont be shooting more than 600 yard and pretty much just targets and an occasional hunt. I'm not really concerned with weight. is the glass quality on the newer XRS's up to snuff for what I'm wanting? How is the tracking?

I had one for a while and wasn't happy with the glass in that price range. Also wasn't happy it didn't have illumination but the EQL reticle was pretty nice. I personally would look elsewhere in that price range like the Tract ELR as mentioned.
