Looking for a few pairs of all around, flexible, comfortable, stylish pants other than jeans to wear for walking, hiking, range wear, etc. Have my eye on some Kuhl pants, but ideally was wanting to keep the budget a bit cheaper. I have plenty of Rothco and Proper BDU's but ideally want something a little less baggy and wide.

Anyone have some recommendations?

They're a lot more spendy now than when I got mine, but the REI Sahara convertible pants are comfortable and fairly durable.
 
I’ve worn the BSA canvas switchback pants for about 20 years. They’ve been great pants. Unfortunately, BSA chanced design, and they’re not the same. I too am in a search for a decent pair of pants. I frikkin hate blue jeans.
 
Pricey but not “Blue Jean”, Kuhl.

Very comfortable and hold up very well.

I wear some form of them everyday for work and some are 4+ years old. Holding up very well.

Looking for a brands that have a wide variety of colors. I'm very discriminating about accessories.
 
Buy your Kuhls on ebay used.

Half price.

The Goodwill smell will wear off eventually.
 
I have several pairs of Kuhls, Duluth and Prana. All good quality and last. (Though they run about $80-$110 per pair.) I have a few pairs that are 4 years old with a ton of use and they look great. I bought 2 pair of the Red Head brand Ultimate Work pant from Cabela's late last summer and they are great. Good fit, not to baggy or to slim, fit to size, and no gay flap style cargo pockets.
$50 bucks a pair.

Everyone talks shit about cargo pants until I pull out a pizza, a two liter, a bag of m&M's , some Tabasco sauce and it's lunchtime.

Check out helikon tex- outdoor tactical pant

I got em on sale for like 65 bucks. Way more comfortable than any 5.11, crye, or rip stop stuff I’ve used. They are somewhat stretchy material but durable
