    Good evening Gentlemen,
Looking for new recommendations for a custom MPA Pro rimfire chassis mounted with a Razor G3 scope. Prefer soft sided for portability at matches but with good protection. Approximately 42 inches total length, 20 pounds and 12 inches tall. I have a Pelican Vault for storage but certainly too bulky to take to matches.

I've tried Midway, Vudoo and various other brands.

Many thanks in advance. Would love to buy from SH supporting vendors in lieu of big box retailers.

So what weren't they doing that you need something different? I use a Vudoo version and it's great and does everything you want. Has plenty of padding, plenty of room for miscellaneous gear etc.

Do you have to carry your rifle in a case at the matches you go to? None of mine do and the case stays in the car for less to deal with.

Take a look at Scheels Outfitters gun cases. I have 2,lots of outside zippered storage pockets and inside securing straps.Pretty nice case for $130.00.

I've been tempted to pick up one of these. They look fantastic, but the price so far has kept me away

Thanks Rob01. They just seemed a bit on the thin side. I use a wagon to tote gear from stage to stage down here in Florida. When we invest so much in our PRS rifles I just want to make sure I'm doing my best to protect it best I can.

I appreciate everyone's recommendations. This is the kind of fun research I don't mind doing. Lots to consider!

In reality they all have enough padding to protect in a wagon ride at the range. If it was being bounced around in a 4 wheeler in the mountains then I would want more but rifles aren't that fragile. It's more the scope so you could just get a scope coat to give the scope a little more protection and use any one of the bags you have or have been mentioned.

I use savior (Amazon) for mine. As I too had the hard Plano/pelican type Ans it was just too bulky heavy.

I just use a light weight plastic case (Anschutz Mega case), it weighs less than my soft Centerfire rifle cases.

I really like the Armageddon Gear, but its all but a bank breaker. I am also using an Allen TAC 6. Does a great job for a third the cost. Both are good, the Armageddon Gear has more padding but less side storage (not that the extra storage really matters)

Whatever you do, Do Not Buy A Bulldog! This is cheap, cheap, cheap Chinese made junk that will literally fall apart not long after first use. Made that mistake. Never again.

Thank you for the head's up. I did pull the trigger on the Armageddon Gear based on the recommendations and previous positive experiences with the company.

    I appreciate everyone's input!
