The idea that a bunch of civilian vehicles on a big highway can just drive away from the “war” in such a small geographical space is silly. It was well past 500k before Christmas, and the slaughter hasn't slowed down too much since.
I don't understand how people aren't rioting against their politicians in the entire west for keeping this meaningless massacre going.
NATO is giving enough support to keep feeding people into the meatgrinder, but not enough to make anything actually happen, this is by design of course (not that Ukraine could ever win without outside troops on the ground).
None of the "support" is to help Ukraine, it's about breaking Russia and the European (mainly the German) economy, make it as costly as possible, both in monetary terms and in lives.
The result of this war is either a negotiated peace, on Russian terms, or an escalation towards nuclear exchange.
There is no win for Ukraine in this, only further destruction, keeping the war going is fucking insane, and pure evil.
Don't forget after the war we'll have to help pay for the "rebuild "
