Just saw Alliant RL-17 Powder and AR Comp $59.99 ,along with IMR 4350 for $74.99 Thursday at Cabelas .

The bargain buy at Cabelas is ;

Hodgdon H4350 Smokeless Reloading Powder - 1 lb.

$64.99

Brutal!! Alliant must not care about being so much higher! Their powders are $10 higher than other brands in my North Dakota market.
I feel like Alliant is selling based on like futures contracts of some critical ingedient they are missing LOL @ $99/lb...

That's what Swiss or Swedish smokeless powder sourcing is doing too Alliant , they're either getting shafted or having very profitable returns !?.
Someone else can pay to send their sniblings to Harvard . I quit buying it when it went above $120.00 for 8 lb. , there's better powders for less monies IMO .

I feel ya - I stopped playing arcade games in the late 80s when they started charging TWO quarters!

I got an alert that Br2's have come down to $144/ 1000 so that's good. Still way too high for me to buy em and I have enough for a while anyway but it's good to see this stuff going in the right direction

At that price I hope they choke on them . That is outrageous! I would give up shooting any thing with large rifle primers before I would pay that kind of money.

"VihtaVuori Smokeless Powders has been incurring continuous cost increases on all the chemical components used to produce our premium powders for the past few years. As such, we have done our very best to absorb these material cost increases, where possible, with minimal cost increases to our valued retail partners.

We, however, can no longer absorb the latest cost increases we face this year without implementing a price increase.

To that end, the Capstone Precision Group will implement a 9% average invoice cost increase for all VihtaVuori powder shipments made on or after June 1st, 2024."
