Anyone have info on CRB/Custom Rifle Barrels?

As long as a 7.5 twist stabilizes a 115 dtac I’m sold!
I’m shooting Dtacs (the non nose ring) in my Dasher and they are doing very well. That’s at 600yds in the pic. I was checking the water line on that load. The chrono numbers are with less than 100 rounds thru it.

Very nice! I’m planning a tubb spec 6xc so this makes me happy to see this thing shoot so well. And all my stuff matches🤣 got everything in from David
I loved my XC barrels way back when. I have a pic on my phone of an insane group I shot at distance one evening with my XC. I’ll have to see if I can find it. It was many years ago. That’s the reason I still have all these Dtacs. Once I shoot them up, I’ll switch back to 105 Hybrids.

dtacs and Peterson brass from Dave are such a good deal! I’ll post the results when it’s done

Yep, my 7.5 twist stabilizes the 115 DTAC s.
I ran them 3044 fps in my 6 dasher, with 28" barrel. Coated, but no nose ring.

And the 110 SMK group good at 3085 fps.

Damn….you must be in that “upper-upper” node 😂
Yep, all ya gotta do is change powder, depending on the barrel, mine likes to run there.
Plus it's heavy, with a 4 oz trigger, in an aluminum chassis, almost no recoil, so a 10 yr old child could be an excellent LR shooter with a little practice. Totally fun to shoot and easy to hit with.

In case ya haven't noticed the video on Ultimate Reloader, :308 with the velocity of a 300 magnum, don't do this at home" video, check it out! They are running Bat
action and Alpha brass to past 103,000 psi. The guys who own or represent each company have been doing this for quite awhile.
I have been running 80,000 psi Sig hybrid cases in 308, 6 5 CM, 358 Win, & 8.6 Blackout in Rem 700 and Ruger actions when they first came out.
If ya like the 6.5 CM 140 gr bullets at over 3100 fps in a 24" barrel, these cases may be for you.
The "Optimized Case Design" labeled ones are the ones to use, if venturing past 70,000 psi. plus area.

Just get the Bat action for those extreme excursions into high pressures.

Times are changing, even the military has adopted the 80,000 psi in their machine guns, and full auto rifles.

But it's up to the individual, do it or not, no one cares, but it's there...

This is going to go over well.

I’m too tired to even really blow this apart, but I’ll say this….. If I wanted to shoot a Dasher at 6cm speeds, I’d just screw my 6cm barrel back on and do it at moderate pressures versus pushing the Dasher far past where it was meant to be. I used to run my 6cm at the speed limit, or close to it. I’ve found I’m able to see alot more, especially suppressed, at a much lower speed.

So YOU are the guy rifle builders owe a swift kick in the nuts for leading newb shooters on about velocity expectations.

If I only had a dollar for everytime I heard, "the rifle shoots great, just doesn't get the velocity I expected."

That might be Bruce Thorm owner of Bat Actions and the spokesman for Alpha Brass, plus the guy who runs the Ultimate Reloader web sight. Who used Alpha's special reamers double the price to chamber the 308 Win barrel, then take it to over 100,000 psi...
Go watch the video.
They are running pressures much higher than anyone on the planet, and they have been doing so for some time.
But so has the military, with their much lower 80,000 psi loads for small arms full auto rifles.
You can buy one for a lot of cash, with a very long wait time in semi auto, complete with supressor, plus you need a SBR stamp, also.
Then, you to can shoot semi auto mag dumps at 80,000 psi. Fully capable of penetrating the latest Russian body armor, thst could be important in the future...
The world is every changing, might as well get on board.
USMC eliminated the scout sniper program, as out dated, they have facial recognition explosive drones to do the job, any time any where...without fail, AI cintrolled...

Well, I ordered a 30cal blank now and sent it to my gunsmith tp cut me another 308 to add to my 25x47L he is re-doing next week that USPS lost and is still looking for.

I can't wait to put some of these CRB barrels through their paces.

I'll probally start breaking in one over next few weeks. Only 400 on current barrel and its a fucking hammer ( hawk hill 7.5tw 6gt)
Nice, wade is chambering them?

I picked up my 6br from him last August and when I finally was ready to load I asked a friend that had the same caliber done up by wade, ran his load data and got bug holes. Stacked them at 500 600 and 700. Have since asked guys I shoot with running same setup and our numbers are the same. Love it.

To even the playing field I just adjust their diopter when they’re not looking 🤝😝

Yes Sir! I have ran mostly his barrels the last couple years, but he only does bartliens in M24 and I want a heavier contour. This comp contour looks perfect. 1lb lighter than a strait 1.25" and it finishes at 1.13, so a little bit heavier than a Proof Comp.

If these things shoot anything like my hawk hills, Austin is not going to be able to make these barrels fast enough.

i want to pick up the cbr comp contour for my next barrel. The wade barrel I’m running now still has some life left in it. From the Oklahoma guys running them, the barrels hammer
