    Pointing out an offset heat shield, chin strap not on the chin or shooting from the cardboard box is hardly a readiness issue in my mind in comparison to the double and triple chins and someone letting the skipper keep shooting with a backward scope while he still hasn't figured out something's fucky.

    The carrying handle? Looks locked to the right to me, but it might be the camera angle playing tricks.

    I'll withhold commenting for now to see what others notice/think. Agree the angle could be fucky on the carrying handle picture but something (or two items in particular) seemed off to me but I'll keep that to myself for the time being.

    I will say the Hide has been nicer than we have about this picture. I wouldn't be surprised if the Navy takes it down soon.

    I couldn't shake thinking that name sounded familiar... I doubt it's through anyone's fault in those pictures but given the last public blunder that ship had in the news, I wouldn't say that these images exactly instill confidence moving forward and am a bit surprised that this post didn't receive extra scrutiny from Big Navy before it went public.

    It's looking like they're going into damage control at the moment and the pictures would have disappeared into the ether had we not been discussing it here on the Hide. The good news is we have the pictures preserved (still have my fingers crossed that someone will be able to screenshot the comments) but the bad news is... well, we likely do have a military, or at least a Navy, that is run by a bunch of imbeciles... so there's that.

    The capt always had a "cabin boy" .....not much creativity needed to know why.
    They were always associated with ruffled shirts and bare chests ???
    "Shiver me timbers and pat the poop deck" ??? TMI, right ??
    Women on board were considered bad luck and in ill taste ??
    Just consider that classic stance of the Capt Morgan dude, no self respecting man would ever be caught in such a pose.
