Never try to talk a woman into anything, just proclaim what you are doing and then go do it. If she wants to follow you she will follow you, otherwise she stays home and can do laundry and dishes while you're out.
And make a sammich!

Just back from the movie. Surprisingly good!

Felt a weird vibe from it, more to the point, an unease…and still can’t quite place why it bothered me so much. Maybe because it felt more plausible than I expected, or maybe just seeing US landmarks as a backdrop to the strife. Felt like a lot of what I saw in Iraq, but I could read the street signs, LoL.

I guess the best description I can come up with right now is that it felt like a weird mashup between The Watchmen and Platoon, with a little bit of Mad Max sprinkled in. Worth a watch for sure.

Any leftist woke shit in it?

Not as much as I expected, surprisingly enough.

Typical “war is bad” tropes, and frankly, it is, but no left vs. right crap that I picked up on anyway. I was ready to walk out if they started down that path, but they really didn’t go there at all.

In the event of a civil war this will be the enemy. Don't interrupt them when they are making a mistake.
