Give the Laird's 7 1/2 a try, even the Bottled in Bond if you can find them. I personally prefer a little less age on brandies or Calvados, they get sort of a peppery taste when aged longer IMO.

It actually is… warm up celebration(s) for my son’s 25th birthday mañana. His sister even came home from college for the weekend, and she is the archetype for anti (auntie) social! LoLSounds like a great time

I like what VA done with their lottery… work there everyday but license is still AL and live in NC.. so I can’t enter.
NC varies by each county.. one in particular posts a list at the beginning of each month of what will be lotteried the following.. make a line, draw poker chips, your number is your picking spot…. Usually about 50 people there. Van winkle a couple months ago..300 people. My wife stood out there for a couple hours to come home with a a bottle of very old Barton… buuuuut for 15.95 it’s actually pretty good.
Yeah it’s definitely more “fair” it seems. They charged several admins from Richmond a couple years ago with selling info in bourbon FB groups regarding drops.
Very old Barton is decent mixing whiskey.
