We all knew that attacking a consulate was going to have obvious and predictable consequences.

If Iran wanted this to be truly effective, everyone of their proxies would attack all at the same time. You really don’t think launching an attack that takes 6+ hours to arrive is the most effective…. My guess would be that the majority of the threats will be neutralized by time they reach Israeli airspace

Reality is, Israel would annihilate Iran and the rest of the world would condemn Israel for it, especially Russian and China.
Israel should consider itself very fortunate that it does not share a land border with Iran.
Unless Israel uses nuclear weapons, Israel cannot hope to win a direct confrontation with Iran. If Israel does use nuclear weapons, then Pakistan will likely step in and use its nuclear weapons to finally end Israel and thus there will be peace in that region, for a few years any way.
