I think there’s more to the story. In most cases the person leaving would post it up and say I’m leaving at the end of the month or something to that nature, and enjoy the goodbyes with friends and colleagues. Caylen didn’t acknowledge Phil’s departure until a couple of days after. Family time trumps any other reason but is it the real reason. Personally I would have a hard time leaving a very successful business. I guess time will tell.

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense, if you read between the lines. Caylen seems to be pedaling hard with new content and more interaction on the site, to keep people focused in his direction. Had a class from each of them, both good guys. Agree best to both.

^^^^This. Let them be. Both Phil and Caylen are among the best instructors in our community, and both men have done a fantastic job of staying above petty gossip over the years.
I wish nothing but the best of luck for both of them moving forward.

I Spoke to both Phil and Caylen, Phil today as a matter of fact,
he has a plan, and we will continue to support both sides on this, as I have spoken to both.
Phil is good, it's just different today, he has his daughter to focus on and the schedule of classes can be overwhelming so I get it. We might do a class together at some point, but I believe his schedule will be much lighter than before

I wish Phil nothing but the best, I’ve always liked his style. Hopefully he stays in the game as I never had the pleasure of shooting with him but would love to someday.
We all know you are literally an expert on fucking everything including now female habits..... well here is another female habit, turning simple conversation into drama.
If either of these gentlemen can't handle a "wonder why" as public shooting personalities/business, I'm sure they can jump on and fend for themselves.

If he's shifting things a bit so he can spend more time with his daughter then it sounds like he's got his priorities straight. I imagine a travel-heavy schedule all year would be rough on home life if a kid is involved. I still hope to take a class with him in the future.
