Prolly not the right forum for this, but it certainly gives me motivation. I bought my first true collector gun, a Single Action Army manufactured in 1884 in all original configuration. It was shipped new to Texas and appears to have lived an active life on the frontier. Not sure how many here appreciate a gun like this, but I’m pretty proud of it.

The only enemy of guns are Rust and politicians.

I have spent much of the last 35 years in gyms power lifting. It would amaze you how many times someone walks in off the street and wants to fight someone. Usually it's a petite little poser that tries the biggest or strongest guy in the place. I was at Golds in North Hollywood when a 5'10"ish 150lb guy walks in and tries to start a fight with Vic Richards, who at the time was probably 320lbs of solid muscle. I was at Island Athletic Club in San Leandro talking to one of the Raiderettes between sets when a 5'8"ish 135lb cholo walks up to me and flashes a gun and says he was going to cap me for talking to a Latina. It ended very badly for both of those guys. The same thing happens at martial arts dojos, retards walk in off the street and think they are Bruce Lee.

Of course we can't all be awesome like @clcustom1911 and do incline 100lb dummies. Just kidding @clcustom1911 your hair can press 100lb dummies.

I’ve spent the last 32 years in various gyms as well. I’m just a gym rat overall, but I’ve done it all. Powerlifting, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding. I’ve lifted in high school football gyms, D1 powerlifting gyms (Gig Em, Aggies), local Houston Golds and other gyms, and I lifted at bodybuilding’s Mecca in Venice Beach.

I’ve seen a disagreement or two, but never a throw down fist fight. I understand that stupid people with frail egos are around us at all times. That looked like a couple of fat Dunning-Krueger award winners who were lucky to not have split their heads open on something.

I love that boxing coach video. The coach is obviously more skilled and experienced. But it also highlights the difference between levels of athleticism.
